I have no objection waiting for a prescription, but would your staff please announce when it is ready a little louder. I am quite hard of hearing and when I was sat waiting today there was a gentleman blocking my view so didn't hear when one of your men staff called outI did eventually get my prescription but only because I went up to the counter and asked the man who served me if it was ready and I was not received in a very good manner when I asked him.I hope this concern can be taken on board.Thank you for your help in this matter

Like with most pharmacies it can get busy but I?ve never had any issues with waiting too long. The way the store is set out means staff can see their customers at all times and they always ensure someone is seeing to the queue. Staff are always been super helpful - if you telephone in advance then you won?t have to wait for your prescription (top tip) Phone etiquette always very pleasant and helpful. I wish more pharmacies were like Southam, we?re lucky to have them.

used to be very good but since they moved to the new shop they are awful. Repeat service takes a week, they often miss items off your repeat. Never apologise for their mistakes. Never take ownership of their mistakes and the answer is " go somewhere else". Well we did and Harbury is so much better. thanks for showing us how to drag a reputable business down

I very much appreciate that the pharmacy is busy however very often there are 8 or more staff in the dispensary and no one on the counter. The other day this was the same and yet two staff members were stacking shelves with non urgent products.If I see my GP and am issued a prescription and I need it that day I am prepared to wait at the pharmacy however I do have a few repeat prescriptions which I order online. I always leave at least 4 or 5 days before I go to collect but, on at least the last three occasions, when I go to collect them I have been told " they are just being done, they will be ready in 20 to 25 minutes" If I have only driven into town for this reason it is quite frustrating and surely this defeats the idea of saving time ordering online?I would also offer some constructive advice based on my own, and other people's, observations and that is to have 2 queues. People who want non prescription items, usually only one or two things, have to queue behind those wanting prescription who are moved over to the right anyway. They might as well queue on the right as this would save time and be more efficient. I would be interested to see your reply, and other users comments.Addition. I notice that since posting this a more positive one has been left which has been replied to straight away with thanks. My posting is not rude or aggressive, still gives 3 Stars and hopefully offered some constructive criticism with a request to respond yet goes unanswered.....2months and still no reply. What is the point of asking for reviews if left unanswered???Eventually a reply, but a big standard one size fits all. I don't see the point in emailing you further, I've stated my case, observations and suggestions. What more can I say???

Sad to say that I have to write this but to be honest my previous experience of southam chemist was disappointing. The Repeat prescription was put in 4 days and when I went to collect them, I felt the male staff member that served me was quite rude . It was almost an imposition that I had come to collect tablets . The prescription wasn?t even ready and as the man went to the back he shouted at the young lady making up prescriptions ,? I gave you the Ks to be made up today it?s this one one top ? as he threw the basket on the top of her pile . I know the staff work hard and currently due to staffing issues are being pushed ; but there is posters everywhere saying please do not be rude to our staff , but what about that being reciprocated to customers aswell!.

Much as I appreciate this pharmacy serves the local community & how it's furnished with all the latest storage/dispensing equipment, it seems unable to cope. Collecting prescriptions can often be a slow and arduous process leaving many customers frustrated. There's always some excuse given for the delays (short staffed, key staff missing, equipment breakdown, no deliveries, backlogs etc etc) ... but they never seem to be corrected or measures put in place to ensure they don't happen again. Something is wrong with the management of this place & it needs a serious shake up.

Polite and friendly, but just such huge queues. Can spend 20 minutes waiting to get to the front and then the prescription isn't ready and then you need to wait 15 minutes more. Just a huge waste of a lot of time.Even if the queues are short, the prescriptions that get automatically sent from the Doctors haven't been prepared and you still need to wait. It makes the automatic system no better than getting a paper one.They have a smiley face machine to check your experience but that doesn't work.Then, when you write something like this, you then get silly comments asking to email instead, as if the comment above wasn't clear. No I don't want to email in with more details. What more details do you need? Do you actually read these before a generic reply?Just time how long it takes you customers to use your service.

They had signs up this week saying they are short staffed and so to expect a wait. We queued for around 15 minutes and everyone was being told there was a long wait time. When we got to the front of the queue they sorted my prescription straight away as I am 9 months pregnant and had my 17 month old son with me. I really appreciated this act of kindness!
