I hadn't been here for over 40 years, having last played cricket in the field at the back. Sadly the cricket seems no more.
Anyway, the food is amazing. Top quality, and I would order with confidence . Not so convinced by the drinks.
Service was relaxed.
Great venue and food quality is the real selling point.

A gem of a place this is ! The steak is always fantastic as are the chips and I've had a couple of pizzas here recently and they're are delicious. What makes this place extra special is the staff, warm, welcoming and their attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Not as good as it used to be... Service this evening was slow, food somewhat average and one of the staff a bit rude when kicking is out of the pub when it closed at 9:30!

Look, the pub was really beautiful and the service spot on but the food was honestly some of the worst food I?ve had in the past year.
For the high price you charge, you need to check the quality of what you?re serving before it comes out? everything was overcooked, unseasoned and had sat on the pass for ages before coming to the table.

Food was pretty tasty but took a long time to be served even though it wasn't that busy.

Has spacious seating inside and out, with option for outdoor seating under canopy. Really nice atmosphere, food was okay but not amazing, fell a bit flat with seasoning, but it was fairly nice. Would recommend for a nice pub meal
