I went into the Rugby store for an eye test with a valid in date eye test voucher for £10. Upon paying, the cashier refused to accept it for some reason and i was charged the full price!. I logged a complaint through Specsavers head office and I've still recsived no correspondence back. since
I wont be using Specsavers Rugby again due to this reason alone.
Latest: still no update from the Rugby store even though I logged a formal complaint to head office.

Make it hard for their customers by demanding a store visit to share information they hold about you that you pay for. Crazy way to do business. They don't appear to put customer first by requiring them to make a 45 mins round trip just to find out their prescription information.

Nice clean big place but unfortunately no toilets for customers or kids. My little boy wanted to go to toilet and I was advised by receptionist to go to public toilet outside that were about 10 minutes away.

Very poor customer service & a lack of basic knowledge , I booked an appointment online & was phoned to confirm my appointment which is fine , I asked how much the eye test was & was told not sure between £20 & £30 I think, I told the person I had paid £20 last time with the extra check they said prices had gone up , they then said they would check & come back to me , I was then phoned by a different person who seemed uninterested & saying the eye test would be free if I purchased glasses , I told them I didn?t want to purchase glasses & to just cancel the appointment & I would go elsewhere.
On previous visits I have found this company to be only interested in profit pushing you to buy their overpriced glasses.
Having eye problems shouldn?t be about companies making obscene profits from it people with eye problems do not choose to have them & shouldn?t have to pay ridiculous fees to have a normal life.
I urge people to not use these companies you are just funding obscene lifestyles of owners.

Ordered glasses on the 9th May. They didn't order them because they said I didn't pay for them. I had, my bank statement proved I had. No one rang me to let me know my order wasn't being processed, I had to contact them after 11 days waiting. Now got to wait extra time for them to make my glasses.
Update on my review. Specsavers contacted me and I asked them to explain why the issue happened. They blamed me and said I cancelled the order. In no way did I do this. Just going round in circles with them. Really disappointed with their customer service

It's ok for eye tests but after being ripped of with one of there so called special deals I now go elsewhere for my glasses. Paying at least half there price.

Great, caring Specsavers. No lift to the second floor, which really lets the store down from an accessibility POV.

It was my 1st visit and I was made to feel very welcome and all staff were friendly and helpful. I was unaware that there were rooms upstairs too yet unfortunately no lift however a member of staff kindly carried my pram upstairs and back down again so I didn?t miss out on my appointment . The optician was very thorough and was very kind & patient when my grandson got upset. Highly recommend using this store. Excellent customer service which you don?t see as much these days.
