Rowlands Pharmacy on Clifton Road is a 5 star Pharmacy, probably the best in Rugby. However, their phone line is what marks them down for me, if they're on the phone you can't get connected so it's a bit like pot luck if you get through to them.

Can't believe how long it takes them to sort a prescription out never known a pharmacist this slow
I've now changed where my prescription gets sent Hopefully they will provide better service

poor service, some of the staff are rude and sarcastic, and they practically never answer their phone, or send messages saying medication is ready, and we get staff to go there and its not the case

I wait approx 3 to 4 day from prescription be electronically sent from surgery in line with NHS guidelines. Staff friendly but busy. Overall very good.

I had a really bad experience, I bought some medicines using prescription, they only gave me one and told me they owe me one . Previous time they gave me an owing card. This time they didn't give me one, and told me, I will get message, and sometimes it will take a week. I haven't got a message , I went there after a week, and explained everything. According to them there is no medication for me as I am already collected in same afternoon. I told no, and you can check if there is any surveillance camera there. After a long time, they didn't even apologize. Just told me if there is medicine , will send message. And I haven't got medicine which I am already paid.

Best around here, all others are getting worse! Just hope they deliver my repeat prescription on Monday! They seem to think I like hobbling around there with painful back & ankle & totally breathless. There is not even a bench or sitting area en route, so I end up getting home in agony, totally breathless, sweating profusely & my heart pumping too fast!
My opinion has now changed drastically!?
My home delivery service stopped some time ago, due to lack of deliverers & my usual one being hospitalised. I saw her last week delivering a prescription to our Independent Living Complex & she couldn?t understand why I was still having to hobble around in agony! I then visited my GP as I needed eye gel, which I had to pick up from Rowlands. I was a physical wreck when I got there & asked if I could return to their home delivery service, which they agreed to. Then on Friday at 12:09 I received a text saying my prescription was ready to pick up! I thought this was a mistake, so stayed in all day awaiting delivery, but no show!??
On Monday I hobbled to pick it up myself, but was told it was out for delivery & if I?d missed him, he would get him to pop back out to me. Again, I wasted another day waiting at home & no show! Next day I returned there & my prescription was there, they said the deliverer had tried to deliver but I wasn?t there & I explained that the only time I was out was while I was hobbling around to them! This time I asked again if they could deliver every 4 weeks & the manager merely said ?NO?.
Disgusted, I merely went home in agony, breathless & furious!? NOT HAPPY???

They didn?t had medicine I was prescribed, told me I will get a text when they will have it. Got a text 25 days later, went to pick up medicine and was told they have sent it back because I haven?t picked it up in 3 weeks . They also said they have texted me 2 times and that?s simply is not true. Now I have to go to doctor again to get a new prescription and WILL NOT USE THIS PHARMACY EVER AGAIN.

I've used this pharmacy now for 8 months and found all the staff friendly efficient helpful happy polite and caring. I used to go to Benfield Road pharmacy and changed due to the lack of respect for people with health issues and their total incompetence.I am happy now using Clifton Road and have not had any problems at all. My prescription is always ready for me unlike the other aforementioned branch. I have recommended others to use this branch and all are very happy with the service.
