saw them giving a young girl that worked there dirty looks and called her different,
the girl was definitely no older that 14-15 definitely on work experience, appalling.

We'd like to say a big thank you to James who assisted us today whilst we were looking for a way to secure our 6 month Labrador pup Alfie in the back seats of our car, rather than in the boot side. He was very knowledgeable in the available products and in answering our many questions before we made our purchase.James we discovered would normally be working in the Leamington Spa store but was helping in the Rugby store. We certainly would have been looking out for him on our next visits. James is a credit to Pets at Home for sure. We have been visiting and purchasing various items since March and can sincerely say that the staff we have been in contact with in the Rugby store have all been attentive, helpful and knowledgeable, which makes a big difference when you are novices in being a pet owner.

AVOID AVOID! Back in January I popped in as a usually do for my usual dog food. I come across a rabbit in the adoption centre that I instantly fell in love with so I adopted him and brought him home that exact day! The lady who sold him to me explained that he had a virus (cold) that he?ll forever live with and might need some antibiotics now and then to calm it down. When you adopt a rabbit or anything else you get free neutering and injections within 2 weeks I managed to book him in for neutering the vet then told me they can?t do it as he only has one testical? I?m sorry as a pet shop shouldn?t you have done a physical check to see that he?s healthy? Not me having to find out that he?s missing one that could actually cause him pain and damage internally? After me finding this out I spoke to a manger who was absolutely no help at all and said I have to pay for the surgery out of my own money when I had a voucher to get him castrated. 4 months down the line I come home to find out he?s passed away!!!! Called up to tell them and the lady I spoke to said they have absolutely no idea on the backgrounds of the adoptions at all so they can?t help, so why did I get told he?s 9 months old (at the time of adoption) and he?s got a virus? So why am I being told you know nothing about the animals background? And why the hell are you selling animals that you cleary know nothing about and could potentially pass away within weeks of them going to their new homes? This place needs to be banned from selling any sort of animals it?s atrocious!

Can't fault this store at all. Has what I need for my dog. Helpful and friendly staff. Can bring dog into store, where he always gets some fuss.

Visited pets at homes today for 2 items, I had a look specifically for vet beds, a standard item that any colleague should know who advising people within a pet shop! One colleague said they didn?t know what I was talking about, and the other took me to standard dog bedding and ignored my second request for puppy pads and walked off, I ended up leaving and buying puppy pads from bnm round the corner and ordered some vet bedding online, don?t waste your time visiting as they don?t want to help you! Avoid
