I've been going to this Costa for a really long time already as the cosy atmosphere makes me feel at ease whilst having a nice coffee. Staff are lovely and incredibly hardworking - they never disappoint!
Overall a great experience! Highly recommend! ?

Very disappointing experience, one of my favourite places recently has been going downhill. Service slow, shop floor and tables messy with dirty dishes everywhere, coffee tastes average.

Usually avoid soulless chains but it was early and my usual places were closed, so I went along this morning on a bank holiday to see if these guys were open. No sign on the door to indicate varying opening times, and there was a staff member at a table. Tried the door and it was locked so I thought I?d sit outside and send a few messages, hoping it might open soon. Staff member eventually got up, unlocked the door and said ?mate, it?s a bank holiday. We?re open at 8:30am?. First of all, I?m not your mate, I?m a customer. You say ?good morning?. Secondly don?t insinuate that I?m some kind of idiot who doesn?t realise what day it is. Just tell me, politely, that you?re not open yet. It?s literally the most simple customer service, and this guy failed, with one hell of an arrogant look on his face (not massively surprised by this tbf - short men always seem so angry at the world). So, I told him to stuff it, and off to Nero I went, where I was greeted by a sign indicating bank holiday opening times, a smile and a, tbh, better coffee. Costa - please train your inept staff, it?s just embarrassing rlly.

I have been coming to Costa for about 5 years now and I have seen so many different staff members I have seen over the years the staff have become quite rude and sarcastic that's not something I want to hear so I try not to go in as much now the manager on the the other hand Is lovley she works hard but also the food is very very overpriced now and even all the drinks have gone up in price I understand that with the inflation but no one can afford Costa prices anymore

Mum had the sticky toffee loaf cake, but it was a bit dry. Everything else was good coffee's, hot chocolate, mince tart.Wheelchair accessibility: It's small downstairs but accessible.
