I love what you do. I thought you might appreciate a poem I wrote about getting old.
As years pass, And life goes by
We, often start to wonder why,
As we get old, become less bold
In winter time we feel the cold
A hill feels like a mountain pass
Our teeth and bones brittle like glass
The floor now seems so far away
Our backs get crook and hair turns grey
It passed us by along the way
But aches and pains are here to stay
When we look deep into the mirror
It is our past we will consider
Enjoy each day as if your last
Remember life, it was a blast.

Used to love going to this place but now the prices are crazy and it seems like all the good stuff is skimmed off by the staff
When it was a flat price for everything it was amazing but I don?t bother going now

Use to love this place such good prices, but recently the prices have gone up so much! the prices at the other age uk tip shops are still reasonable So unsure why this one has changed.

I dropped off some contributions today (03/10/2023) and amongst them was a Pink Wig. This Pink Wig created a great light-hearted, amusing moment when one of your terrific volunteers scooped up the wig and placed it on his head.Hilarious! All volunteers and customers certainly enjoyed the moment?and I was?chastised? for encouraging him!My thanks to your volunteer for not only his wonderful help but also for enthusiastically providing us all with the ?Smile of the Day?!

Went in there today Monday and left there feeling sad, disappointed and cheated. The manager (think name starts with T) in there was not friendly. (although other two staff were amazing and angels). Sold a TV, hoover and a bunch of stuff etc to the guys before me at £35 and I even heard them bargaining. Then it came to my turn had a really bad attitude and told me to pay £45 telling me a food mixer is £20 (for a small used mixer). He then made me drop half of my things and still charge £25. Never going in their again as long as he is there. Seems like he has favourites. Next time even if you don't go lower, say it in a nicer way but don't belittle people. As for the shop itself and other staff no complaints.
