My daughter had a weeks stay in the hospital all care very good , but the highlight of our day was going to the shop & being served by CLAIRE , her customer service towards us & all who entered the shop was excellent always making sure we got the deals on offer & just making time to chat & being very polite .

I just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff working in the children?s A&E on Monday 31st march 2025 I can?t remember everyone?s names but I do remember Sarah- Jayne and the male matron as well as all the other staff, doctors and consultants. These hero?s saved my son?s life with their quick response to a very dangerous situation. Thank you all so much we will forever be grateful.

I came into the hospital following a referral from the GP on a Sunday with high blood pressure with in a short time ECG , blood tests etc revealed possible Heart attack , I was admitted immediately and after a few days and lots of further tests including angiogram revealed I had and had blocked artery's , further tests completed and the consultants decided my best option is a by pass
The staff at all levels from auxiliary through the nurses , sisters , doctors and consultants are absolute heroes
It's what good looks and feels like .....you could not get better Care in our NHS hospital

My husband was in the Sir Captain Tom Unit recently and he wants to thank all the staff for their kindness and compassion in their work!

This is a little newsagents shop inside the main entrance to George Eliot Hospital.The customer service is outstanding. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff they always have time for you & are always their to help you with a smile. On top of their jobs they are all very passionate and doing a brilliant job raising money for Cancer Research. I think they had raised over £20000 on my visit. Really enjoyable place to shop & definitely 5*****

I started off working in Whsmiths who support people back to work through the job center. I started work experience a couple of years ago after being treated really bad in a previous job. I?d lost all my confidence & been out of work for quite a while. Thanks to all the staff in the WHSmiths at George Eliot Hospital they all really supported me & helped me build my confidence back up to get the job I have got today. This shop & the staff working there really made a difference to my life. Thank you WHSMITH
