Just been today for a chocolate afternoon with a group of ladies excellent service food of very high standard and freshly made. The staff were very attentive we even got to speak to Chef. The hotel is lovely and we had the room to ourselves which was lovely and made it easy for us all to chat.

We were there for the Burns Night. The food was superb. 5/5. Excellent service. The entertainment for the evening was magnificent, from the eloquent Scottish gentleman to the Scottish dancing. We hope to attend the event again next year.

Very good service & foodWe have visited before but thought the event on 20 th January was particularly well organised.Food was served quickly by pleasant staff and full marks for the entertainment.

Visited for the 1st time for Burns night. Didnt quite know what to expect but was welcomed with a warm atmosphere and pleasant staff. Bar has a good selection of drinks, service was prompt and prices were reasonable. The event itself was really nice, relaxed and fun. It was value for money as we had a 5 course meal and a shot of whiskey to toast the haggis. There was addressing of the haggis, poems by Robert Burns and traditional grace said before eating. Portions were a good size and really delicious. A great night with live ceilidh to dance along to.Food & drinks: Nice selection and good quality. Well cocked and presented.

This was my first visit to this very old hotel. The grounds were very pleasant and would be lovely in the summertime. The purpose of my visit was for a Christmas meal. The dining room where we were was large and spacious and the staff worked diligently to serve the meals we had ordered. Despite its age the decor was good. It was a high class venue with prices to match. In other words rather expensive. For me it would have to be a very special occasion if I wished to visit again.

Nice hotel.Dog friendly barFriendly staffNice as I live locally, handy for coventry and nuneaton, but neither place would attract me to visit if work hadnt sent me to the area years ago.Overall nice hotel, nice for a beer, meal or if vusiting the area for work or family.

A hotel that I visit almost every year for work reasons.The hotel serves its purpose, being relatively close to Coventry.A nice bar, the food is good. The rooms and decor are dated and in need of an update.Will I come back? Yes. Ideal for short business trips.Rooms: Dated and in need of updating.Some issues regarding leaking bathroom.Hotel is extremely hot. Can make it difficult to get a decent night's rest.Food & drinks: Good options, with a restaurant as well as a separate bar, with its own food menu.
