I booked 2 nights there.The room was clean as was the bedding.It was basic but was enough for my needs.Price was ok and a fan was there to use as it was very warm.Fan was a little noisy but I still slept with it on.Dawn on reception was lovely and very helpful and hospitable.I had a broken soap dispenser,Dawn had it repaired very quickly.The guy on an evening were ok too.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I booked the breakfast box,which was pricey at £5.95 but did the job to set meon my way.No complaints at all, I will be staying there in the future.

Paid for 4 breakfasts in advance. I as told in the morning that they were not available as items were out of stock. Asked for a refund and was told that it would be processed by the manager the following day. The refund hasn?t been processed and no one answers the phone. Very disappointing

Excellent, sorry cant remember the extremely polite lady on reception, but from Portugal. (I'm terrible for remembering names all the time). She was extremely pleasant when we checked in.

We stayed there for work purpose. Dawns was supper helpful and give information about the area which was very thoughtful. We had very fantastic stay with incredibly friendly member staff.

Maria and dawn was the fav and would love to go back just because of there energy they both gave the mornings of my stay was a high due to there happy and go getting attitude for there jobs they really care for there visitors to the point they make it there job to know you and make you feel welcome will stay again and so excited to see these pair again

Where to start, rooms are dirty, outdated, noisy, blood stain on pillows, dog poo smell in carpets, drog dealers outside, police visits very often, pooooor management. A not recommended never again experience. Homeless people live in the hotel permanent basis, a real crime scene. Bad, bad, bad

I stayed here last month with my girlfriend the guy who gave me my key was rude I was on ground floor and the window lock was broken the whole place stank and had rubbish and now I get a letter saying I?m getting fined £150 for smoking witch I never did I?m sure you can check the cameras and see me going out to smoke I only rolled in the room if that?s not allowed to roll a cigarette in there then my bad but I never smoked in there and there was also a fire alarm in the middle of the ceiling staff was rude and walking into it it felt like a police station

Firstly the staff were outstanding. The location was perfect for the purpose of our visit. However the stay did not meet my expectations. I booked two rooms (well in advance) but the rooms were not next door to each other. The rooms were tidy at first glance, but the dust in the room was ridiculous, it was above door frames, on the skirting boards, and all the lights were dusty, even the desk fan was caked in dust. Not great when you have a dust allergy. The bath was yellow, not a great look and no hand soap. The windows were all blown and one had a crack in it. The bed in our room had obviously had one person sleeping in the middle, so the mattress was raised at the side and flat in the middle. The bed in the other room was fine. We were offered another room, but I'm disabled and I'd already unpacked and taken my medication, but they gave me a single duvet so my husband could sleep on the floor.
I know it's only a two star hotel, but at £100 a room, you have some expectations. Then there are the people who live there, and stand by the smoking station and you just can't walk in and out without hearing their stories, and then I watched 7 drug deals when sitting by the window in my room and I only stayed one night. I will never use Travelodge again.
