The atmosphere always nuzzles even on quiet days. The drink is cheap and the food more than acceptable. It's not cordon blue, but complaints are rare and quick sorted. Excellent swift lunch when you're busy or a slow lazy drink when you're not.

Usually a decent spoons with nice staff and pretty good food. Visited today and was quite disappointed, my chips were absolutely cremated to the point they had become borderline plasma. The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills (all day every day) on tea and Lavazza coffee.
