Some of the teachers are awful, rude, and unreasonable. They don?t care about pupils mental health and well-being, GCSE results is on top of everything. Not recommended at all, I had to move my son to other school, my son feels much cared now. Hypercritical Catholic school?

Eh the schools alright im currently in year 11 and feel injustice sometimes. But, the barbeque chicken is a work of art a needs to come back most of the food is pretty mid but they got some michelin star barbeque chicken. My past review has gone down the drain beacuse of this chicken. This is the exact reason me and the dinner ladies are such good friends! However, im going to take one star off due to the chicken sometimes being pink.kind regards.Nick Betteridge.

I?m a student going into year 8 next year, and i must say i love it here. It?s a great environment for kids to enjoy themselves but sometimes (and this comes from personal experience) teachers can be unfair on specific students. As well as this, the disciplinary system is quite unfair. Taking away a child?s free time for forgetting a pen a few times is not the correct way to help a child and prevent them from gaining mental problems. We are, like robots, pretty much programmed to be perfect, and that every slight mistake we make is bad. Anyway, that?s all I have to say, minus a few slight problems, a very good education system with some lovely teachers and i?ll be happy to spend the next 4 years and a few weeks here.

this school is awful, teacher's are rude, have no manners and they cannot admit or say sorry when they have done something wrong. the school do not care about your children's mental health and the only thing there care about is good gcse results.

as a pupil of this school i know what happen daily, yes the car park my be a bit ruff but the school is on very tight budget and thinks it more important for a good strong education than a perfect car park. i would strongly recommend this school over redmoor as its better education and better behaved students. All of the teachers are kind and sportive, they are allway fair and are never unjust over all a brilliant school.

The spirit of this school is amazing. The students are treated with respect and respect is expected of them. From the Head down, everything is about enabling the students to achieve the very best of their ability and all minor successes are recognised. Our children have and continue to achieve an all round personal development from this outstanding academy.

Mr Ben Dover, your statement that the students of our school are put under pressure to perform well completely over - exaggerated. Yes, the teachers push us and that's for a reason. Take a look at the OFSTED results and past GCSE results - You will find that they're better than most in the area. The pressure is there to push us to perform. Students that say "oh no there's too much pressure" are the students that can't be bothered and therefore don't deserve a place here. So, question yourself. If you're a student here, you clearly can't be bothered to do your homework so boo hoo. If you're a parents, I'm afraid your child can't be bothered to do their homework - boo hoo. St Martin's is a great school with great staff and students - the pressure you mention is greatly over exaggerated by either yourself or a child that isn't paying attention in class. Please keep your fallacious and slanderous comments to yourself. Your review is laughable because it's down to the student to respond to the education.

As the owner of a very well-behaved child, I am forced to give my honest opinion of this school. My child (The name of which should be unknown) walked into the school for another productive and hard worked day when she tripped over a stone on the floor and face planted into a puddle.
