Picked up my new glasses on Monday and they fit really good no need for any adjustments as they are a good fit. The service was very helpful and friendly again so very pleased with the style and really like the new push button cases.

I had a really unpleasant experience at this store. I had my appointment which I self booked for 11:50am. From the moment I walked in, I felt dismissed and judged. During my appointment, the optician made a completely unnecessary comment suggesting that I "wouldn't want UC knocking on my door." Regardless of whether it was intended as a joke, it was loaded with judgment and assumption. It felt like I was being accused of trying to take advantage of the system, which couldn't be further from the truth. I was just trying to see if I could get my current glasses tweaked to make my day to day vision better when I'm out. I shouldn't have to say this but it's not an opticians place to make judgements or assumptions about anyone regarding their circumstances like that, they stepped far beyond their role today which needless to say is NOT ok.
I?m not ?living it up? ? I?m simply trying to access basic healthcare. Suggesting otherwise without any understanding of my circumstances was insensitive and unprofessional. He also made remarks like "between you and me, your eyes probably haven't changed that much," which came across as dismissive rather than helpful.
On top of that, the overall demeanor and body language I experienced felt condescending and unwelcoming. No one should have to feel like they are being judged or humiliated when trying to take care of their health. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to prevent other customers from enduring similar treatment.
Overall judgemental, insensitive, tactless and arrogant.
