French toast was very sweet for me but if you like dessert for breakfast it's perfect. It was great atmosphere. Will try again.

Nice little spot with a cosy indoor vibe and a few small tables outside.
I ordered the fried egg with avocado on sourdough, topped with feta and hot honey. It was okay ? enjoyable, but something I could easily make at home. I was hoping for a bit more flavour (and definitely more feta!).
I?d still come back, but next time I?d try something different on the menu. ?

A lovely relaxing afternoon spent enjoying some well cooked and presented food with my wife. Would recommend even just for a coffee and a slice of cake.

We visited this café with high hopes after being recommended by a friend, but unfortunately our experience was deeply disappointing.
After being told to seat ourselves, we waited 15 minutes with no service. I approached the counter, only to be told someone would come to take our order at the table. After another 15?20 minutes with still no sign of anyone, I returned to the counter and placed our order directly. Meanwhile, customers who arrived well after us had been served, eaten, and left before our order was even taken.
Once we finally ordered, we waited a further 40 minutes before I asked about our food. A couple next to us, who had been seated before we arrived, discovered at that point that their order hadn?t even been started. They ended up leaving after 1 hour 45 minutes with nothing served. We had been there an hour and a half before our food finally arrived.
Sadly, the food itself didn?t redeem the experience. My Banger Eggs were undercooked, scrambled eggs were still runny and while I ate them out of sheer hunger, they were far from enjoyable. My partner?s gluten-free Nutty Nana pancakes were burnt on the bottom and tasted of charcoal, with no sign of the caramelised bananas described on the menu. Staff did offer to remake them, but after such a long wait, we declined. We asked for a refund on the pancakes (£12), but were only refunded £10. By then, we just wanted to leave and get something to eat elsewhere.
Staff were polite when approached, but the service was disorganised and inattentive throughout. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Very friendly, wonderful food! If you want something more than a greasy cafe, look no further! Great quality produce. Will definitely come again next time my car is being serviced at Toyota dealership! (20 mins walk away)

No gluten free, despite this being one of the highlights! Not dog friendly either. Very disappointing overall.

This place is next level good. Kevin provided great service, and the food was super tasty. It?s rare to get a place this good that has good honest tasty food and is not pretentious. Just go eat there.

Visited this morning for brunch, (party of 6). *Delicious* food, great menu choices - need to go again to try all the things we couldn't order today!! . Good portion size, friendly helpful staff (Kevin was great). Would definitely recommend & will be visiting again. Thank you

We were visiting on a narrowboat, this cafe was 5 minutes walk from where we moored. I think we visited this cafe everyday. The menu has something for everyone. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, the meaty options also got the thumbs up from from the carnivorous. The coffee is delicious and the cakes yummy! We had breakfast, lunch and coffee and cake during our stay and loved it all. We sat outside with our dogs with cushions to make the seats extra comfy. Emma looked after us fantastically. Nothing was too much trouble, even when she was rushed off her feet busy. There is a great park behind the cafe for walking off all the tasty food. Cannot recommend this cafe highly enough.

Lovely little cafe. Homely atmosphere and despite being no chef on the day of our visit we were offered freshly made sandwiches and toasties which were really good. Highly recommended
