I am very appalled by Nuneaton Poundland .
I had my son phone me up before school this morning and was upset he couldn?t buy two bottles of water to take to school as he and my daughter were wearing Etone school uniform and apparently all Etone students are banned from going into Poundland .
I can understand maybe a few school kids are causing trouble for the shop but that doesn?t mean tar every child with the same brush .
My two children only wanted to buy two bottles of water as it?s going to be a hot day and were refused , this is not acceptable and is very disgusting behaviour.

Popped into store after work after 17:15. I was helping a older gentleman, in a mobility scooter around shop, I wasn't with this man, he just asked for help. . . When getting to the till point, the older gent needed help. The male member of staff., refused, say his head office would sack him if he helped . I asked him to buzz someone to help him. Which he again say he would be risking his job.. No one on tills., and not everyone will be able to use the self service..there shopping, not working. . He said he would help, in the end, once I pointed out that he can't discriminated , but with a loud tone., Kept repeating he is going against head office and risking his job. I walked away as I couldn't stand to see the humiliation, put on to someone. as the staff member would not let up making everyone aware that he was risking everything to help. ..( come on pull the other one) I could go on about how wrong this is. But this member of staff on different occasions is very voiced in talking about other customer, staff ect. I don't normally care tbf. But putting someone down like that in front of a shop full of customers. For asking for help. Is not right. Maybe some trainning is required..

Clothing is very good quality.
Customer service needs improvement, hence the 4 stars.
You can get a lot of stuff under one roof.

Have recently completely removed the self-checkout option which has significantly increased queue times, I won't be using this store any longer. I also don't welcome them joining the trend of having installed one way entrance barriers, they know how to make you feel welcome.

Ridiculous!!! It?s changed!! Que is longer, they have got rid of the self check out - maybe because of stealing? Yet there?s always a secretary guard! I?m 7 months pregnant, needed the toilet and had to exuse everybody in the 10 minute que, to move out the way! Embarrassing! Shocking won?t be returning! What have you done to Poundland??? The layout is ridiculous!
