Ordered some panels for an etype jaguar. Panels arrived as promised but quality is that bad one of the panels cant be used. It has been spot welded together incorrectly and out of alignment. Sent photos and they admit fault. Currently refusing to send out a replacement after weeks of waiting for a decision. Really not good enough.

Extremely bad experience: purchased several spares for my E type and two cooling fan electric motors. The car was under restoration, when completed I drove the car some 200 miles and one of motors failed, likely after just few minutes of opration. Advised Martin who replied that some eight months had already gone by since purchase and they would have informed the sub supplier. After that no further reply or information despite my several mails and messages through Whatsapp. I decided to open the motor and found that there was an error in fabrication: one of the sleeves fixing the motor shaft was not locked at all! Very bad service!

Nearest thing to a one-stop-shop for classic Jaguar parts. When something breaks while fixing something else, we look on Martin Robey's very clear parts 'map', find it, order it (orders get checked v quickly), cfm with payment and it's there invariably the next day. And I think the prices are competitive

Something has changed at Martin Robey? - I called and spoke to a grumpy parts guy yesterday who was a real 'happy soul' - I spent ages reeling off a list of parts we required to fix a good customers car. Mr grumpy promised to call me back and never did and left me sitting by the phone with my customer awaiting prices......that never came. So a waste of time and money waiting for a call that never came. one out ten for effort!I then phoned back today and spoke to a much friendlier sounding chap in parts. He explained the chap who I dealt with previously was away at lunch (which I wasn't upset about to be honest)....but he couldn't help me with prices and availability due to having to go and collect his daughter.....so can I call back later???Sorry its not good enough Martin Robey.I had our valued very good customer back sat in front of me again today and once again was left with egg on my face as I once again couldn't obtain basic pricing and availability of standard parts for a Jaguar XK engine.So we won't be calling back a third time......David Manners simply offer a far better service and I only called Robey because Manners were engaged and I was in a bit of a rush to price up some work for a highly valued customer of our garage.I now know why David Manners were engaged and Martin Robey weren't.I hate leaving poor feedback...we really do. But perhaps it takes having to do this to make a business realise that they have to make sure parts people call customers back when they say they will, they can't allow parts people to have a cold attitude on the phone.....also don't have people answering the phone who can't help because they need to collect their children. We all have children here too....but with our business, the customer comes first.We don't plan to use Martin Robet again....we can't afford a sloppy service that makes as look like amateurs in front of our customers.Gutted to leave a one star, but it was well earned I'm disappointed to say.

I purchased my 1971 Jensen Interceptor in July, 2022, and have already enjoyed two positive experiences with Martin Robey. I purchased the "build sheet" and "Statement of Origin" for my Interceptor, as Martin Robey holds the original factory records. I worked with Jake who tracked down the documents and they arrived quickly. Last week, I order 7 suspension/brake/steering parts, again with help from Jake. The order was placed and paid on Thursday, and the parts arrived here in the U.S. on Monday. I really appreciated their quick response in shipping the parts, and 4 day delivery is outstanding!
