From the moment I walked into Halfords Nuneaton, every member of staff was extremely helpful and friendly. However, two members of the team in particular truly went above and beyond ? Jaden ? who was customer-facing, and ? Rob ?who worked behind the scenes on a pushbike they really worked as part of a team.
My friend urgently needed a repair so he could get to and from work, it was going to take 2 weeks to order the part in and get it . Rob took the time to search high and low to find a spoke that would fit the wheel and get him back on the road. Meanwhile, Jaden made sure everything was handled smoothly on the customer side with genuine care and professionalism and fantastic communication working as a brilliant team with Rob.
It?s rare to come across such fantastic customer service these days, but Jaden and Rob really are a credit to Halfords. They turned what was a stressful situation into a really positive experience.
So often people only write reviews to complain, but service like this deserves recognition. Thank you to the whole team especially Jaden and Rob for going the extra mile it really means a lot. Halfords please pass on our thanks to these individuals for their 5 star customer service.

14.08.2025: I went to have a technical assessment done by Evan. He helped resolve the issue to my entire satisfaction. He is always so friendly, approachable and helpful. A real credit to Halfords, and especially store on Newtown Road in Nuneaton. All staff in that store are very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you.

Initially poor customer service. I needed a new battery and telephoned the main Halfords number. I received advice on suitable batteries and prices. The advisor confirmed these prices included charge for fitting. However, when I went to the store and asked for the battery at the quoted price the sales assistant advised that I had to pay an additional £30. Even though I explained how I had been advised differently the sales assistant insisted that an additional fitting charge is always applied. She was unwavering on this. As I urgently needed a battery and was not able to drive to any other retailer I almost agreed to pay the additional £30. However, instead I went back to my car and telephoned the main Halfords contact number again. After explaining, the advisor telephoned the Nuneaton branch and confirmed that the price did include the fitting fee. When I went back into the store and spoke to the sales assistant, she failed to take any accountability for the misinformation - instead she tried to explain that my existing battery would have had to be checked to provide me with the right one which I pointed out was irrelevant, the battery I asked for was a certain price including the fitting. The whole situation was very frustrating and quite distressing. Eventually I was sold a battery which was efficiently fitted by a helpful and friendly fitter.

Excellent service from Halfords cycle department staff. Very helpful, nothing too much. Got the bike I wanted at the price advertised on their website page sale.
All done efficiently and with a smile.

Poor website.
I appreciate the products sold by Halfords but I can't understand how such a large chain of stores operates with such a poor website. I have just paid an invoice with a gift card. The website accepted the gift card but did not give me any confirmation for the invoice. I spoke to Halfords and they only resolved the issue 2 days after I placed the order.
