Had an MOT on my car, my MOT had failed. Since this I have spoken with multiple different garages who have informed me that Halfords are charging between £500-£600 for the labor on the work that needed doing and that parts for this work only cost between £21-£36?

To call this place moronic would be an understatement.
Car went in twice for a wheel alignment, where I was asked why I didn?t take it to quickfit as they originally put the tyres on. Was then told it would be done by 15:00 on day one( it wasn?t and was again called to ask why my car was in.)
Was taken back again the following week where after 5 hours in with them said that they couldn?t perform a wheel alignment as the car was too new (it?s a 24 plate).
Please don?t waste your time and money here. Use quick-fit or another local garage.

As a member of Halfords motoring Club. I take my car there for the MOT. Which is included for paying members.Thete are other benefits too and the storw staff will fit small items for free . like wiper blades. I also had Halfords tyre fitter come to my home to replace tyres. Good service all around and worth being a member for me.

Useless MOT centre. Refused to MOT my vehicle because of a small amount of oil on the engine of my 20 year old car! Took my car to an actually reputable company the same day and had no issues at all. Stay clear of this terrible place!

One of the best garages I?ve visited to have repairs done to my car. Steve on the front desk is very approachable and knowledgeable when it comes to what the car requires and the options available. He?s a real asset to Halfords. I?ll definitely be taking my car back again for my mot/serice.

Car serviced today. Dropped car off at 8am and it was done very quickly. Staff very nice and helpful. I have a disability and a mechanic helped me to get my car out of the car park which is quite small.
