Nice food but overpriced, especially for the Sunday roasts. The staff are not welcoming. Stand moaning to eachother at the bar complaining about other colleagues and their jobs. I felt very unwelcome at the bar. The waitress serving our food was however lovely.

Food was good, service not great - took 30 minutes to get our desert, and drink. Not sure if it was the fact I used the App, but shouldn?t be a problem.

My Wife and I used to always go to the Beefeater next to this Premier inn Hotel. It was my first time at the Griffin, and I can honestly tell you now that the Griffin blows Beefeater out the park. So those reading this FORGET BEEFEATER and come to the Griffin I honestly would recommend it 100% the waitresses worked in a Professional Manner and are definitely an asset to the company. I will DEFINITELY RETURN WITHOUT A DOUBT

It had a very friendly and nice atmosphere, despite being fully booked and with 2 separate parties going on. The garden outside is very pretty and the inside is just as appealing. The food was lovely and the staff were very welcoming and warming.

We?ve been here a few times recently for birthdays and special occasion. Will & Katie where our servers for our table. Very polite and friendly. Great customers service and service through out our stay.
Food is excellent here never had a bad meal yet. Definitely recommend to family and friends ?

We each had a special birthday and celebrated at The Griffin with friends and family last Saturday. We were made incredibly welcome, nothing was too much trouble, everyone thought the food was amazing, the service excellent and we all had a wonderful time.
We wouldn?t hesitate to recommend The Griffin - and we?re back there tomorrow for our anniversary!
