Visited Glebegate yesterday evening for dinner. Firstly, the students ought to be very proud of themselves. The food and service were excellent, the food we were presented with was absolutely delicious and definitely akin to fine dining. Students are obviously very well trained, indeed a credit to their tutors, one of whom oversaw the restaurant. We were so impressed we have booked again for our Christmas treat. There were six in our party and we were all delighted with the politeness of our waiting staff and the quality of the food provided by those students working hard behind the scenes. Highly recommend Glebegate, a treasure on our doorstep

Good for what it was.
Vegetarian options: Very nice mushroom tart according to the person in our party who had it.
Parking: Strange shaped spaces. (Square) so people parking in all directions.
Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance and a lift but the doors you had to open manually were heavy.

What a hidden gem this place is. £10 3 course lunch and the food and service was outstanding. The restaurant is a teaching environment for the college but not that you would know. Food was fresh hot and looked as good as it tasted.

A delightful venue to sample freshly well presented food whilst giving young trainees the opportunity to practice and present thir skill. Would recommend booking, open for lunch and dinner for fixed price menu with small addition for coffee and alcaholic drinks.

Lovely place. The food was excellent and very nicely served by the students. Nice atmosphere which was enhanced by the crowd in from, probably, the local WI. We had a three course meal and a nice cuppa to finish. I partook of the chocolate brownie and I have to say it was the nicest one I've ever had.

Outstanding food and service. Catered superbly for vegetarians with an adapted Italian theme. Wonderful atmosphere created by the teaching team and students. I could happily eat there every week. if you haven't tried it, then you are missing out. Six out of five stars.

My friends and I go regularly for lunch. There's a lovely atmosphere, staff are polite and attentive, and the food is excellent. Well worth a visit!

Great way to celebrate Burns Night, fantastic food, the students are a credit to the College. Thanks also to Jon and Elaine, so sad to hear that Jon is moving on to pastures new, Good Luck mate.
