I went to use the till as someone was on the self service and was told by the staff ?you can use the self service you know? in a rude manor, the till and self service should both be usable there is a pillar behind the self service which blocks it also so can cause a massive que, stop cutting costs and having one member of staff on at a time there needs to always be 2 on to serve and stack shelves very poorly run.

On the 30th of November
myself and my mum, we had just been to the boots chemist next door as the two of us were both suffering with a nasty flu. My mum has had this flu for nearly two weeks and had finally started to really lose her voice today amidst all of this my mum is a key worker and had recently worked nights so today when we were checking out I was stunned to hear this cashier named Tracey bark at my mum. " if your looking down I can't hear you" in an incredibly rude and patronising way. My mum was looking down trying to get the card and co op cards out and also struggling to speak clearly due to struggling with a cold. This was extremely rude and appalling customer service that day

Expected to use self service while staff pretend to stack shelves. If you want to pay over the counter you?ll need to ask staff if they could politely do they?re job lol!

Literally the rudest staff I've ever come across in my 48 years of life. I'm not even going to go into all the situations I've encountered in that miserable place, I'd be here all day. Obviously nobody reads these reviews because it's always the same women working there.

Honestly been using this shop for years as I live local all staff are usually so pleasant and friendly and a great range of products but there is always one that ruins it. I unfortunately didn't look at the name tag but its not the first time with this particular representative of the store. She is so rude it's ridiculous no hello no please no thank you just you know there is a self checkout don't you! This individual points this out everytime I go in, if it's not to much trouble to the coop could you brief your staff there is no problem encouraging the use of self service but if I DONT want to surely as a customer I don't have to. I should not be made to feel like an inconvenience to a member of staff working the tills at a coop store.

Unfortunately i and others I know will not be shopping at this co-op again, me and my partner have been left on many occasions feeling upset and almost bullied by the rude manager! I really do not how he still has his job, the man clearly has issues and should not be working with the public.

Nice enough apart from the rude tall male member of staff who seems to have issues and shouldn't be working with the public.Edited: The acting Store manager called me back after I made an in store complaint. It was handled very well and appreciated. Have changed review to reflect the rest of the store as the other staff are always helpful and friendly.

Recently been refurbished & it's a huge improvement & more logical & prices are really competitive it's an important little supermarket that has & still serves our local neighbourhood really well the staff are very friendly & helpful

Twice now in the space of a fortnight we have been in to the shop. Layout is one way now which is brilliant. All staff are wearing masks even behind the new screens. However both times now their auto hand gel dispenser has been empty. Excuses range from customers pumping more than once(which is hardly surprising given the alloted amount is pitiful) and that they are waiting on a new batch of hand gel to be delivered. Could do better CO-OP.
