Lovely canal side location. Delicious baguettes but poor coffee. Service was slow and only just welcoming. It's a very dog friendly pub and is promoted as such. What I didn't like is customers allowing their dogs to sit on the tables and the pub staff didn't respond. Not good if you've then got to eat off the same table. But overall nice.

Stopped off here for a night in the car park, thank you for letting us stay. Beautiful spot, lovely pub -looks even nicer with a new paint job... Lovely barmaid, fantastic food, big portions, great value for money ... We'll be back! Thank you ?

Been here a few times recently and found the staff welcoming and friendly, but every pint I?ve had here recently tastes a bit off. Nice atmosphere though and being by the canal is lovely

This is a solid pub. The buffalo burger is excellent, it's difficult to stand out in a crowded market for pub burgers but this is well worth ordering.
The beer was good and there is a broad range of gin.
The landlady was accommodating and friendly and she kept everything ticking over nicely.
Recommended for anyone who wants a good, if not revolutionary, menu and a friendly drink. Prices were also very reasonable.

Love this place! We hired a long boat from Kate's boats, motored on down the river, came across this quaint little pub (not hard in the UK), and stopped for dinner. We were not disappointed.
Great service, friendly, helpful staff, cold beers and wines.
Food came out quick too.
Set on such a beautiful location right on the canal!
We are Aussies touring the UK and just loving it!
If you are thinking of visiting this area, this little pub is a must ?

This was definitely my favourite pub in the area, beautiful location by the canal, very traditional inn and seemingly very popular.
Staff were friendly and welcoming, drinks were well kept and tasted great, although we didn't eat here ( we wished we had! ) the meals coming out looked amazing and generous, it's definitely on the list for when we return to the area.
