What has happened to Yo Sushi?It's been about a year since I last went and it's not the same experience anymore. Firstly we were kicked out at 9:00pm on a Saturday night- had I known they were shutting so early I would have gone somewhere else or planned our evening differently. As a result the atmosphere at 8:00pm was dire - appart from a constant stream of Just Eat drivers we were the only two in there. I had planned to spend a relaxed couple of hours eating but after 45 minutes we were told to pay up & leave. Just as well- since there was nothing going round the conveyor belt by then!!My next issue is the food ordering system- call me old fashioned but I'd rather not use QR codes and phones to order food. I feel like I'm doing someone out of job and I also miss pressing the table button for the amusing sound effects! The new 'service' system is seriously lacking especially if you don't have a phone.Food quality was acceptable- but again I'm sure something has changed here since my last visit. There seems less on the menu and more 'lower standard' items? I was also dissapointed that Saporo beer was no longer available.....In conclusion - we are not in a hurry to go back anytime soon.

Today was the first time that I visited this place and actually left. Usually, this place is 5 stars. The service was terrible, and I did not even stay to eat.

My son specifically requested to go to the sushi place for his 7th birthday treat. We went straight after school so early evening and the restaurant was empty apart from us and the staff.The conveyor belt was very empty, and we were informed that the staff were in the process of restocking but this didn't happen until nearer the end of the meal, so I kept having to request items, which although sounds like not a hardship, my son really really likes picking items from the conveyor belt as it helps him keep control over his situation (as an ASD/PDA child this is crucial to any outing).Despite being very quiet the service was slow when we had to request things, a number of times it took a good five minutes to even get someone's attention as they were either out of the room, working on a laptop or just not looking in our direction, and at one point we received only half an app order (I resorted to this as it was easier), and I had to chase up on it, to be told the order hadn't come through (yet we received half of it?).That said the food was very nice and overall my son did like it, but the lack of choice did dysregulate him which was a shame.

The taste is very good. It's good that they have some plant-based/vegan options, but more vegan options are required. The most obvious fact is that they are very overpriced given the portion sizes.

Over priced, small portions bad value!Unhealthy, frozen packaged food, very bad service/ bad communication!Do not recommend!!

What happened to Yo Sushi? This was one of my favourite places, now it seems to have gone downhill. Even the take out seems lacklustre. I couldn?t believe my eyes! The portion sizes seems to have shrunk while the prices rose. I know the economy isn?t doing so well but come on Yo Sushi, do better!

The food is really good. Staff is friendly and provides good service.Mobile signal is bad inside the restaurant and there is no WiFi so accessing the menu and ordering from phone is difficult and at times impossible.Some dishes are not available majority of the time so ask the staff what will be/not be available before ordering to avoid disappointment.This restaurant tilts towards luxury so is pricey.

The menu is now lackluster, the menu a few years ago was great. It seems to have been reduced to much fewer options.In this particular branch the conveyor belt seems to be mostly empty all the time. The staff are friendly and great though.

One of my favourite restaurants. The food is very delicious. I definitely recommend you to try the chicken katsu it is amazing!Would definitely come here again

We had a late lunch at Yo Sushi Leamington today. Two children in our group ate free and were given Bento boxes with a good portion of tasty food. All the food consumed by us was appetizing and well presented , the staff were friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed the experience. Thank you.

Food was not fresh and stale. Women serving us didnt know how to use the system to activate my student discount so she made an excuse that its not possible yet when i went to another branch they were able to use the system to activate my student discount? Due to this i ended up losing out on savings 10 pounds which is a lot as a student. Emailed head office and they are worse! Just ignored my email.

Went a couple of weeks ago with my family and the waiter couldn't have been more helpful accommodating our 5 year old autistic son's plain dietary requests. He had a kids meal but wanted no sushi, no edamame and no sauce with a few chips and plain rice. We had a great time because his special needs were catered for willingly, however this time the waitress was very dismissive of this and made us order via the app where we couldn't give the special instructions. She refused the same request again despite my son wanting far less than what's offered as a kids meal. I work in hospitality and this is not how you treat disabled customers with special needs. For me the experience left us feeling like we were asking for too much and taking the pee. We had thought that we found a restaurant to add to the list of places we can go eat as a family that catered for our sons food issues, oh how wrong we were. We will not be visiting yo sushi again due to this awful treatment of us and a perfectly reasonable request to cater for a young child with a disability. The girl in question needs some serious customer service training, her attitude was well and truly awful
