Can't fault the staff who did my eye test, especially the optician who was wonderful. But the sales pitch to sell new glasses was far from ideal. I said I wanted to use some existing frames I have (supplied by Specsavers previously), but there was a lot of pressure to chose new frames. I was quoted a price 50% higher if I wanted to re-use my own frames. Not only is it logic-defying to be offered less for a higher price, but it's a terrible sustainability message. I think I'll be going on-line for my new specs.

Probably sessional, informative staff who supported and advised me. We have been to other spec savers in the past but went back to Leamington Spa as they are fantastic.

Brilliant service. Immediate appointment made with someone trained to assess the problem which was followed up with optomotrist face to face within an hour! I was extremely impressed. Very helpful/reassuring/professionalism throughout.

Very helpful staff, not to much of a wait. Very thorough examination of my eyes as you would expect. And as my sight hadn't changed over the past couple of years I didn't need new glasses so it was a pleasant surprise not to be leaving the store with a lighter banner balance ?

Poor knowledge and availability of larger frames, once member of the team realized that I was looking for budget frames it was obvious she wanted to get rid of me as quick as possible. Also fitting was absolutely terrible with a trainee who took a very long time and twisted both frames out of shape, one temple was higher than the other and curved inwards more. Eventually another member of team appeared to be senior female took over and tried to sort it out. After almost an hour I run out of time and had to leave with ill fitting pairs of glasses When I went for hearing aid adjustment appointment later on I showed and asked the same senior female to correct the temples so they would be at same height but she told me that if it was corrected the the frame would sit leaning to one side on my face because some ears were not at the same level. And I just walked away with shock and amazement. Now I can't use neither of the frames. Also the frame of the prescription sunglasses was damaged probably during the fitment of the prescription lenses but I did not bother to go back because I just don't want to upset my self with incompetency covered by excuses coupled with patronizing and condescending attitude of your staff.I specially have to mention the two females who called me about my appointments and their very upsetting, patronizing and condescending attitude on the phone. Both were equally unprofessional, could not or would not listen and were actually telling me of in a polite way.They need to stop seeing people as cash cows and start treating them equally not according to the amount they spend.Unfortunately I am stuck with them for my hearing aids.

I have been with Specsavers for roughly 15 years now. The past year each experience I have had has gotten progressively worse. It is always chaotic and disorganised whenever I come in. You find yourself having to repeat yourself alot. You come in for an appointment only to find you aren't booked in. They have made mistakes with lenses after I had 3 new pairs made. The staff have tried their best to be helpful, but they just seem so busy and frazzled and struggle to remember what you are there for. It's a shame as I've always raved to everyone about using Specsavers. I've decided to not use them anymore and use an independent opticians instead. If I'm going to pay a fortune for my eye care, I want the service to be good at least.

I have used SpecSavers for a number of years and they continue to refine the quality of their service. Communications are regular; the service is efficient, structured, professional and friendly. I use them for glasses, contact lenses and hearing aids. I am very happy with the service I receive.

A family member of mine and I both experienced the same: This shop did not notify us to collect our glasses. The promised collection is two weeks. But no email, no calls, whatsoever. When the collections were so overdue that we remembered and wondered, we called them. They said they were ready for collection. No explanation why they wouldn't bother to tell us.

Extremely busy and not enough seating in the waiting area. There was at least 7 people standing of all ages only 7 seats and people with pushchairs. People got up when called and then returned a while later with nowhere for them to sit due to others coming in. We left after our appointment it was too chaotic.
