Called into branch to deal with a fraud issue. Served by Charlotte who got me straight through to the fraud team. They resolved my issue within 20 mins . Over all experience was very positive ?

Really rather poor customer service, rude, unhelpful, ill-informed. Attended to complete the process of opening a bank account, the "customer service advisor" was frustrated that I hadn't completed the process online, stated that I needed to upload my documents online, then advised that an in-branch appointment would take a long time, then advised that it would be weeks before I could get an appointment. Quite frankly, she simply didn't want to help me, didn't want to give me an appointment and wasn't very happy I had come into the branch. I went home and called halifax and was told there IS NOT AN ONLINE OPTION for uploading these documents, the appointment WOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN HOURS, as she had stated and that actually I didn't even need an appointment as it was just an ID verification that was needed.So in summary, she was unpleasant, unhelpful and ALL the information she gave me was incorrect.I now won't have time to attend a branch to finish opening this account for about 2 weeks!Useless lady

Went in to do a switch as TSB are closing the 2 branches local to me. Was unable to open in branch but was done over the phone. First class service, Sam was very patient and answered all my questions and happily did the switch. Hassle free and great service. Well done Halifax!!

I managed to shut myself out of my online banking , called into the branch and was all sorted in about 10 mins, second time I've locked myself out of online banking and the staff are super helpful, thanks to the lady who sorted out my problem.

Went in 10 minutes before close to deposit a cheque. The lady (didnâ??t catch her name) was extremely helpful and approached me and explained I could do it on the online app. She showed me there and then! I wasnâ??t even mad I made the trip out especially, brightened up for day after a rubbish day at work! Thank you
