The staff and level of service was sublime, definitely 5/5 stars. I greatly enjoyed meeting all of the staff and the level of service that was provided. Sadly when it came to choosing my new frames and lenses is when it all went a bit off course. The selection of frames wasn't great, 50% of the frames were designer so at least £150+. I would guess that 1/7th of the frame display was empty (across all the frames). So again frame selection was limited. I needed new varifocals and 2 members of staff highlighted the fact that paying more for varifocal lenses would get better visual results. So this meant lenses costing £200+ for these higher quality lens types (£290 for the best visual acuity). So I was left with the financial anchor of new varifocal glasses costing in the region of £300-£600. This wasn't a cost variable I was prepared for and left the store upset and disappointed. A definite shame as the staff were so very good and the whole experience was marred by the disappointing range of frames and the extremely expensive lenses.

Been having problems since my last eye test.Went in for a recheck with Ammar who listened without interruption while I explained in detail of my previous eye tests.Very thorough test and didn't finish until he was satisfied with my responses. Ordered some new glasses based on his test so fingers crossed, they'll be perfect as my 2 year old pair were when new.

Very thorough, and equally sympathetic to my concerns and anxiety arising from a 'working from home' regime, where I'm squinting to read information on a relatively small laptop screen. I received very helpful guidance from a number of colleagues in the Leamington Spa Boots Opticians department. I have taken up guidance to experiment with an occupational lens, which may take over during the working day, in place of a single, daily, CLBP contact lens, and substitute with a 2nd pair of glasses, for long distance road journey (commutes).

Would have liked a clearer explanation on what the changes to my sight were, price of frames was way over the top, bought same Oakley frames for £66 when Boots were £240!

Thorough. They took my concerns seriously. However they seemed over keen to sign me up to a direct debit without fully explaining the optionsThe whole thing took nearly 2 hours which was fine but I was moved to different seats lots of times. Up and down like a yoyo.I felt forced onto a more expensive one.i resisted! Overall I was satisfied with the service and found the staff friendly and professional.
