We regularly visit Gilks' garage café because the food and atmosphere are always perfect ! Never had anything to complain about. Prices are good and the staff are always friendly. Even uf it's busy they always manage to get us seated and we never have to wait long for the food.
In fact we are going tomorrow if the weather's on our side.

Fantastic Cafe, Highly recommend. Service is top notch with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There is that extra pride that so many other places are missing. Best in the area!

Incredible cafe and a must stop if you?re in the area - definitely worth diverting your course to visit! The history of the place is incredible, been in the family for generations, originally a car garage and still has all the original details and memorabilia - ask one of the staff for the history tour. Places to store your bikes (we stopped en route). Keith (4th or 5th generation) talked us through and all staff were incredibly welcoming and kind! And to make it perfect the cakes were delicious - highly recommend the Bakewell slice! Thank you
