I visited 'Angels Boutique' for the first time this morning. I was looking forward to the experience- I am a very busy mum of four and after having a rough, rushed morning, was really looking forward to some 'me time'.Hands up, I messed up. I mistook the location of the salon and parked miles away. Due to the booking being under my husband's name and account, I only had the address, so it was a bit of a guess game. I parked in the centre of kenilworth and ended up having to walk for over a mile to get to my appointment. Nevertheless, I thought I would explain when I got there and would take responsibility for my own lateness, losing 20 mins of my appointment. Given the fact, I had booked out nearly 3 hours of appointments, I didn't think it would be a problem as I was still intending to pay for the slots I had booked out. How wrong was I!?!When I arrived at the salon, I was met with an angry, loud character (I think she was actually on the phone when i arrived).She had absolutely no empathy with the fact that I had pretty much ran to the salon, was probably the rudest person I have spoken with in a long time, addressing me in a patronising manner, calling me "hun" , talking down to me from the outset. She spoke to me like a naughty child ! She claimed she had sent me a text message stating that my appointment had been cancelled due to my lateness. However, this was actually received three or four minutes after I left the salon and she had given my appointment away!!I appreciate that a business is a business and has to stick to schedules. But i was anticipating paying her for more than three hours of work today! My problem is not necessarily the fact that my appointments were given away, I understand it was my mistake. It is more the fact the way I was spoken to and how it made me feel. I left the salon sobbing, not an experience I would wish on anybody looking for a confidence boost !If you are looking for a treat, some 'me time', a pleasurable experience, I certainly would NOT recommend this place. I would look elsewhere.Thank you for taking the time to read the review. I hope you have a nicer experience than I did today!

I cannot recommend Jules highly enough. I had thread vein treatment on my leg and was really impressed by the first class service. Jules was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. The salon was immaculate and I felt completely at ease. I will definitely be returningService: Skin treatments

Have to say, this place was the worst I've ever experienced. Lily was casually talking to me about her "Asian" clients about how they are usually smelly, use Groupon vouchers and are annoying because of it. I couldn't believe what I was listening to.THEN to add insult to injury when she did my lashes she didn't do anything when I told her my eyes were in a lot of pain and clearly streaming. She said she usually used pennies to hold the lids down but didn't have any on her(!). Not to mention, at the end of the appointment she almost didn't let me have their own websites' discounted bundle even though I was well within the timeframe to use it. She was clearly annoyed by me having any discount whatsoever and said I should have told her before the appointment that this was the case (At this point it was only confirmation of what she'd been saying about Asian ladies and them wanting cheap deals and needing to know beforehand if they had a Groupon voucher so that she could prioritise other clients).When I got home I found she had chemically burned one of my eyes with glue so badly that part of the whites had turned yellow and felt like it was bruised and had a needle in there for about 10 days following, and I wasn't able to wear my contacts. I even had to miss the next day off work and see a doctor, the pain was too excruciating. I told her about it, she didn't apologise or anything of the sort. She asked to see a photo to check if it was an allergic reaction, she confirmed it wasn't and still refused to apologise or accept responsibility, only to offer to remove them as if that would help anything whatsoever.I went a second time to see a completely different girl to have my eyebrows done. I don't remember her name but the end result was also not good, which is why I absolutely would not recommend this establishment, the results lasted less than 2 days, and having had lots of different brow treatments in the past I can confidently say that these did not hit the expected standard at all.Whilst all this happened over a year ago I believe the review is still valid and needs to be shared as I am now in a position where I feel more at ease to tell my story and warn others of the awful experience I had. And if these women would like to try and make this up to me or gaslight and debunk anything I have said I would suggest they go through a lawyer as when I saw a doctor on the day I had to take off she confirmed the burn on my right eye so it is now on my official medical records.Girls, if you aren't almost asleep during lash extensions then your beautician is not doing the job properly, word to the wise.Services: Eyebrow beautification

Gel nail extensions for both me and my daughter. All lifted after three days and had to remove most as catching on hair etc. Salon offered no apology and more or less blamed us saying their technique is perfect, must be something we?ve done. !!!! Offered to redo them but we are not local to the salon and currently away so it would be too late, had them done for our holiday. Disappointing. Won?t be backService: Manicure

I booked to go here as my usual lash lady is booked up. They were very unprofessional asking me to move up my booking, clearly to go home earlier on a Saturday after forcing me to get a patch test. Made me go earlier even though I was struggling getting the initial time due to work. I couldn?t go to my appointment as got hospitalised and expected a few for not showing up, but the fee was the entire price. Which is absolutely ridiculous. Is overpriced as it is and to get charged the whole fee for not being able to show up is bad!

I was turned away because I am not currently a client and they are 'busy follwoing covid regulations'. England is the first country where I see this happening. If you are busy now, tell me when an appointment will be available. Tell me something! But just saying 'no, sorry' is a weird understanding of customer service.
