This was my first visit to this lovely rural marina. Quiet, peaceful, and well maintained. Other boaters were friendly. Having wheelbarrows available was a real plus.

My experience is indirect as it us gained from narrow boat residents and tourists. The consensus was positive. However, the marina has a narrow aqueduct at one end and this can create holdups. In addition to pumping and refuelling facilities at the Marina, there is a farm shop and cafe within walking distance

The View restaurant was good. Enjoyed the walks. The moorings are very close together, but it is attractive.

Only popped in for diesel ended up staying 2 months - think that says it all!! Great place, well run by David and his team. Will definitely stop again when in the area (assuming we can get in as a popular mooring). Location is perfect with great facilities and 'The View" sums it up, breathtaking.

Lovely spot for refreshments, large outside eating place. Dog friendly with great walks. Advice it can be quite chilly, wind was blowing up the hills, so if eating outside, suggest the use of jackets. We only had toasted tea cake, but the other peoples food looked good.

The View couldn't come more highly recommended. The food was absolutely delicious. The view breathtaking and the staff were friendly,curtious and went above and beyond in making you feel welcome.A truly fabulous place and definitely a must do for everyone. It simply has it all xx
