Food great VFM and staff were amazing, rooms were dated and in need of an overhaul.Rooms: Rooms are very run down and in desperate need for refurbishment. TV is so small you need binoculars to watch. I found the bed uncomfortable!!Food & drinks: The food is probably the best pub food I have eaten, great portions, great price and very well cooked, 5 starsNoteworthy details: The staff are very friendly and helpful, the early morning staff at breakfast were great

Didn't use the rooms, but the bar, although a little dated, is good, and food is amazing. Great portions and enough to fill me up for the day. Staff are great and it's well worth a visit for a meal.We had the pleasure of 100 visiting Cardiff fans who stopped by on their way home from Rotherham, and they were funny and also had a great laugh.

Me and my partner visited the pub restaurant earlier today for bank holiday lunchAfter a cold welcoming and service we were finally given our food, my partner ordered the lasagne and I ordered the hunters chicken. My girlfriends lasagne sheets were half cooked and the meat was suspect also. After I bit into my meal the chicken was still in its jelly like raw form with a thin top layer of white around the whole breast, it had been cooked in the oven in the bbq sauce for a matter of minutes.The waitress immediately took the plate from me and through the food in the bin and when I asked for her to search the bin so I could take a photo she ?couldn?t not locate it in the bin? while attempting to con me by rubbing tissue on her hands to act like she?d looked.We were offered a ?total refund of both meals and drinks (even tho we hadn?t paid yet) ?After I sat back down with my girlfriend as she attempted to eat hers I was not offered the option to order anything else or even an apology.Never visit again,4 tables taken on a sunny bank holiday Monday out of the whole restaurant ?We know why nowAlso asked for the chef and he just hide in the back very professional

Staff were absolutely lovely and the food was perfect! Atmosphere wasn?t the best, but that isn?t something they can control so it wasn?t a problem. Would deffo recommend if you are looking for tasty food and great service!

I went to the George & Dragon last night for the first time for a family meal. The atmosphere was really nice, rooms were neat and had a nice decor and the staff were very friendly & polite. I went with the 10oz steak with peas and chips and it was very delicious. They also had nice brands of cider. All in all I very strongly recommend the George if you're looking for a nice meal or a few drinks in Coleshill.

Excellent place. We stayed for one night prior to our holiday & left our car with them for just over 2 weeks. The rooms were adequate, with ensuite and clean. We ate in the pub also and the food was brilliant. We will definitely use them again.
