Lovely setting, beautiful views really a great location, just be careful ordering from the menu. Pizzas are superb but the Caesar salad was just a packet of leaves with sauce, no anchovies or croutons as stated on the menu.
Shame as the setting is so lovely.

Excellent little find on our travels. I had corn & jalapeno fritters, absolutely fantastic.
Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Lovey day we say on the balcony overlooking the river.

Having a wonderful day out with the family Me and my Husband decided to go a quite drink . upon arrival we was greeted by a rude male no customer service skills at all at this point we sat down all of a sudden the male who served us was dragging chairs across the floor with no apology at all then there was a female member of staff who was also dragging chairs at this point my Husband mentioned it to the female and she replied we have finished now no apology given and then all of a sudden the male slammed the chair down . at this point there was several guests vaping in the room opposite which staff members was aware of . I was SHOCKED as its a guest the law I asked a young male who runs this establishment his reply was Heineken and who was the Manager he replied Bobby I mentioned I will be taking the Matter Further AVOID AT ALL COSTS RUDE STAFF

We stayed nearby for 3 nights in July and dropped on The Frog on the first night and we were so glad we did because it was amazing. Food quality, drinks prices, sitting riverside and the friendly bar staff meant we made sure we came back Saturday and again Sunday for the beef roast which was incredible again. Couldn't recommend it more.

This is a lovely location pub that is situated on the banks of the river Avon. The food is cooked fresh to order. A good selection of real ales and lagers. Staff super friendly. Dogs welcome. A decent sized car park. Disabled friendly.

Called in by chance on Sunday, met with alot of signage reminding you it is an anpr carpark so make sure you enter your reg in the bar ( obvs due to people using the private carpark for nearby takeaways, river etc). The pub was very quiet so we were a bit dubious but very friendly bar staff.
We went out to the rear terrace, a lovely spot by the river and comfy seating.
I would suggest that as this is a smaller very pleasant outside dining area it would be better to move the smoking shelter part further into the garden as its not the place for a group ( sat on tables, poor language and smoking cannabis).
The menu was very limited and had a vegetarian selection.
My husband had the fish and chips whilst I had the Sunday roast beef. We both really enjoyed the food, my roast was beautifully presented, nice tasty beef and fabulous selection of veg and the best yorkshire pudding I have had in years. Highly recommend.. All the staff were very friendly and chatty.
I agree with others a lick of paint and some attention to detail in places would be good as this is a gem of a place in a great location.
Definitely visit for the Sunday roast though.

Went with three others. The Rib-eye stake and the Chicken Supreme were both unavailable. Apart from this the staff were friendly and the service and food were excellent.

Lovely traditional pub for a drink by the river in Bidford on Avon. We didn't eat but food looked great.

Popped into The Frog but left shortly after arriving. Two team members were behind the bar on their phones and didn?t acknowledge us. A young, unaccompanied child was trying to buy a pint for his dad, and the team member speaking with him did ask the others to serve us - but they clearly weren?t interested. No greeting or effort to engage with us at all. The interior of the pub looked nice, but we took our custom to a bar that actually wanted it. Won?t be returning.

This place has such a bad customer service . We had a confirmed booking , they failed to contact us prior to cancel and then when we arrived they gave us such attitude. Won?t going back there shocking

Just went for a coffee. Sat on the patio right by the river and bridge. Beautiful view. There is parking. Can't really comment on food as we didn't have any, but would definitely consider going back because of the location.
