Lovely staff.
I booked early check in, then plans changed so I called to say I'd be after midnight. The person rang me back to point out that I could get a refund for my early check in as I had the flexible rate.

The whole building was clean and fresh. The towels were lluxurious.. A desk fan was provided for my comfort during the heatwave. There was a gatage nearby with a convenience store and a food preparation francise. I had a good night's sleep, with my bedroom window open and minimal traffic noise.

Usual Travelodge, which to me is reliable - I know what to expect. Location is handy for the main routes and a 10 min walk to the station. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Probably one of the friendliest we have visited. Highly recommended.

A very tired hotel that needs redecorating and an up lift. Service was hit and miss. Checking in was OK, but check out she just sat on her mobile phone. The bed linen was not clean with dirty marks on them. The outside again needs an uplift. The fence is falling down, and a huge pothole on the road entrance that needs urgent repair.
Sadly, it's back to premier Inn.

If you want to lodge whilst you travel like we did travelling 200 miles to visit a family member in hospital then this is a standard ok hotel other wise I wouldn't probably choose it as my first choice to stop somewhere.
Rooms are basic. Beds aren't the most comfortable. Bathroom smell of drains. Wouldn't have a bath in there! Get enough towels. Extra pillows. Window opens on a latch which is nice.
Angie was friendly and chatty on the desk.
Sundays are cheapest for hotels apparently

Thought I'd give Travelodge a go for once and I am very impressed with the place. The room is impeccably clean, perfectly located for my needs.

very run down but it was cheap. very basic rooms. shower in bath with wall mounted head so hard to wash soap away. fencing around site rotting and falling down and big pot holes in drive way.
