Staff realy helpful lady sought-after news papers unable to change a £20 for a £1 coin for a trolly gave me from her own handbag a £1 coin. Im pleased after getting my
shopping in my car i was able to go back and find her and return the coin

Massive big store, with 34 main aisle and other extra sections very clean and tidy.
The cafe is a lovely place to relax after a big shop, with very tasty snacks and meals.
Customer toilets were very clean.
Plenty of free parking under the store, plus a sensibly priced petrol station.

Rude security abruptly locked our cart with child in it in the middle of the exit way and made up random reasons as to why it stopped. Asked to see receipt and barley looked at it then just walked away. Fancied a power rush I guess...
Shop was good, clean and not too busy mid week.

I love this store. Staff are helpful. However, they still haven't reinstated their fitting rooms even though most other stores have. Shame!

Got to the till and realised I had forgotten my purse....lady at the till couldn't have been nicer...she patiently took items off until it reached the amount of cash I had...she was just wonderful,patient and helpful....sorry don't have her name and couldn't get through to the store but was checkout 021 today at 4pm..she needs a pay rise and a gold star

Stock availability it terrible but everything else good

I like the place, good stock, good deals, great parking provision, staff are basically nice, (but under pressure as you'll see with what Im about to say) but the antisocial behaviour around school turn out time and later into the night is getting ridiculous. Its got really bad in the past 6 months. God knows what its going to be like over the summer break.
I've been catcalled by packs of older teen creeps who smoke in the overhang next to the enterence. (I guess their mommies don't like them doing weed at home, so thats where they ended up.)
I've seen kids pulling wheelies through the downstairs passage and treating the escelators like bike ramps. They scream and shout and mouth off to the (mostly female) staff and guards.
Frankly, I fear for any woman alone, or those that are trying to move around with young children, or older people who cant move out of the way fast, especially if they move on to doing anything more than making comments at passers by.
Management have zero control on what they've known is a growing problem for the best part of a year.
Edit - Christmas eve 2024. The anti social behaviour issue has improved a little bit, but oh lord they have let the restrooms suffer. Half the ladies toilets are out of order, and the entire area just straight up reeks. Its not changed since the place opened and its screaming for a refurb and deep clean.
Edit 2 Jan 3rd. The teens set fire to the toilets and shut the entire store for at least 24 hrs. Looks like the refurbishment of the toilets is going to happen sooner rather than later.
Edit 3 March 15th They've reopened the toilets. The ladies toilet still smell like pee, and there are still 12 year olds pratting around under the ramp, ripping and swinging from the netting and then acting like bored adults with better crap to do than entertain prepubescents by reacting to them are the ones being unreasonable. And its not just happening after dark or at school turnout time any more - they are now including weekends on their schedules.
So its obvious the Tesco management has failed to learn and implament any security cameras in the spots these kids gather. There will likely be another fire before they know it. Management are incompetent.

Very poor experience. Waited 40mins for toasted teacake, and bacon and egg toasty. Had to chase twice.
Teacake OK, for some reason know only to themselves egg and bacon deliverd in a takeaway box ????? Egg uncooked and snotty.
Won't be coming back. Awful experience!!!!

I have to tell anyone out there who wants good old-fashioned service the way it should be and excellent after service help then go to the Tesco phone centre , nothing is too much trouble their great and Liam thank you for you service and knowledge !!!?

Tesco open but not ready for customers after fire. I had a couple of items in a basket and was told to join a queue at end of store. There were hardly any staff on tills and self service was like the elevator, not working. Went Aldi were they were ready for customers
