I first went to Jessie?s in 2019. I went in for a cut a colour. And although the colour didn?t turn out how I expected I lent it pass because I was pregnant and I know it can effect the way you hair takes colour. The cut was nice though.
Then I went back at the beginning of the month for a wash, cut and blow dry.
The lady was lovely. And while I was there I looked at my hair and it seemed fine. However not long after I got home, I started noticing little bits that were not right. I didn?t have time to pop back in to talk to her as I had somewhere to go.
The issues I have are,
- my fringe was supposed to be rounded, and although it looked rounded, it?s actually cut straight. But it?s not even.
- I asked for it to be thinned, but it hasn?t. That may have been misheard or forgotten. I know it?s hard to hear with masks. I didn?t even think to check while there.
- The layers are not blended, you can spot them. And the back looks like it?s in steps. I don?t know if it was the way my hair was placed while she showed me, but it wasn?t visible at the salon. But it is really noticeable.
- The layering at the front, starts at different lengths on either side. I like to have the front bits down occasionally when the rest is, however I can not do that now.
I contacted Jessie?s regarding my issues and requested to either have my hair fixed by a different stylist, or a full refund. Due to work commitments and childcare my availability was restricted. The day I asked for they were closed due to the bosses wedding. And the next available date would mean I would have dealt with my hair like this for 3 weeks. It was agreed they would talk to their manager about a refund and get back to me the next day.
After a couple of days and me chasing I got a reply saying they were offering 50% and asking when I would like to pick it up. I replied with my disappointment. Yes they had offered an appointment, but unless I take time off work I could not attend. It has now been 2 weeks and no further forward! I have them a bit longer to reply because of the wedding and the boss probably taking time off for it. However surely there should be someone able to make a decision. I shouldn?t have to keep chasing them. And to keep chasing causes more anxiety and stress.
I just hope no one else has to deal with this lack of customer care.
I won?t be going back there again, and I won?t be reccomend if to anyone else.

Jessie has been my hairdresser since she first started doing hairdressing and I have always been satisfied with the work she has done. Very friendly ladies and lovely atmosphere in the salon. X

Went and had my hair done just before my holiday. Turquoise on the ends of my hair. I absolutely loved it. Love that they took so much time just to get it perfect

Had my Hair cut by Gemma today and I absolutley love it took her time and cut it exactly how I wanted it...very friendly and chatty....the girl who washed my hair was also very good nearly fell to sleep so relaxing so Thank you Jessies....very very Happy with my visit today I recommend everyone to pay a visit you won't be disappointed ?
