This is probably the worst Greggs I have been to. Now we all know what to expect with a Greggs and it's not exactly a gourmet experience.
The issue with this is really down to the service.
I joined quite a long queue just after 9am to grab a breakfast, it's morning I expect a queue that's not problem.
There is only one lady serving and the other taller woman with brown hair is running around filling up putting things on to bake, where as I am sure this is all the things she needs to be getting done it's her body language. It's very much Quick turns slamming the oven door dramatic movements, looking at the queue and just continuing what she is doing with no expression. You can tell she is purposely putting on a show in some sort of protest at their being a queue.. she is not in a rush to support her colleague and the look on her face when she does glance at you in the queue she is thinking 'well I am doing something so you all have to wait' I can't describe exactly what I mean but it does feel very passive aggressive in how she acts.
The queue by this point is too the door and their is just such a lack of urgency from the staff there. The lady who is serving is just going through the queue but at a leisurely pace, I'm not expecting her to be running around like a headless chicken but.. you could have a bit of an oomph in your step.
She then just shouts out to the queue "Cash only. Internets down' I get that it happens and always happens at the worst time but again it was so blunt.
This store depending on which staff are in can be ok (its a greggs they are never overly thrilled in any store) but you can 100% feel that alot of the staff especially the tall lady with the brown hair really are not people people and can't fake they are.

Staff are VERY rude. Speaking down to customers in front of other customers. I won?t be stepping foot there again

OK for a coffee and cold sandwich but why the fresh bakes are always stone cold is very disappointing. Maybe the shop next-door is a better option.

The best Greggs in Town! Mary and her team are quick and efficient.The shop is always welcoming, clean and well stocked and I wouldn't get my morning Latte, from anywhere else. Well done ?
