Had afternoon tea with extra savouries. It was brilliant. There was so much food for the price. For £2.95 there was 4 large vol-aux-vants, 4 large pigs in blankets & gravy & cranberry sauce. The main tea consisted of 8 sandwiches, 4 scones with cream & jam, 2 mince pies & 10 little cakes for 2 people with lots of tea & coffee. We were both bowled over with it. The two women working there were so cheerful & attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Booked afternoon tea. Table was not ready when we arrived. We where then seated but table was not set. The light above the table was flickering, the tables was wobbly. No check backs with food, no refill on tea or coffee offered. 1 afternoon tea was wrong ( they did resolve this however ) Staff were more bothered about tiding up and getting home than the people they had in. All round a real disappointment

Always a lovely place to browse especially on a rainy day like today. Enjoyed the fabulous 2 for 1 cream scone offer this afternoon which were absolutely delicious ?

Terrible customer service, we bought garden furniture that was broken and beyond repair. We was offered £25 if we wanted to keep it. We decided to return the item and after 10 weeks got a response of, you need to go into the shop for a refund. Not only poor, over priced furniture but now I have to do over an hour round trip to get my money back. When they could easily do it over the phone. Will never use them again

We have just got home from a trip to Dobbies at Atherstone . Very impressed with butchery section. We have bought our Christmas turkey breast joints again. Highly recommend and very reasonably priced. But not so impressed with the restaurant. £8:29 for a chicken and bacon sandwich which consisted of two slices of white bread ,margarine, mayonnaise, 6 very tiny pieces of streaky bacon and 16 tiny cubes of chicken ( yes I counted)2 cans of Coke Zero £4:20,( I can buy 6 cans for less than that at my local supermarket ) 1 packet of walkers crisps £1:35 .( I can buy 6 packets for 50p more ) and one Tunnocks tea cake £1:10 ( I can but a box of 6 for that ) total £14:94 I appreciate the prices are dearer to eat in store . BUT can?t justify £8:25 for a sandwich ( no side salad or coleslaw )

Whilst we don't have a garden as we live on a narrowboat, we do have room for a few potted plants and some herbs. However our main reason for visiting is to sample the food in the restaurant and to shop for Christmas gifts.

Went to Dobbies on Friday 20 October 2023 got there about 1030 just in time for breakfast.We would like to pay a huge compliment to the ladies serving behind the food counter serving breakfasts and hot drinks.Although the queue continued to grow they were so cheerful and happy and nothing fazed them - couldn't of been more helpful.One thing for the management maybe another person on hot drinks at peak times - you know how long these fancy coffes take to make.

The restaurant is dirty and I had to clean up the table myself. When my food came, the lasagna was dry and the portion was a 1/4 size of the dish that it came in. The salad was gone off and brown. This was £10.99 for a small dried up meal.

Folowing a fantastic visit to Lucky Tails Alpaca Farm we had a lovely lunch at Atherstone Dobbies. I had a large jacket potato with cheese and side salad and coleslaw. Well worth £7.99.

Staff have let this branch down. Today at around 2.45 we watched as a member of staff spoke down to another member of staff. The poor young girl went red faced infront of many customers, I felt uncomfortable with the situation. If staff aren't performing how they should be then pull them aside and have a quite word! Not gob off infront of customers. Two members of staff, one on the cake stand also lacked customer service skills. Both gobby and unprofessional. I can only give credit to the lady on the till who was very pleasant and well mannered.

We went for afternoon tea the waitress brought the pots of tea and plonked two pots in front of me and just put the other to the side brought the food out never came back again until we had finished I thought it was unlimited tea but never got asked if we required anymore the sandwiches were quite nice so were the scones but one of the other cakes were awful the waitress said it was gluten free pastry was disgusting why do they put gluten free with other cakes

We stopped off and had their Sunday roast dinner. Raw carrots. The meal was luke warm. Beef nice but a very small amount. All in all disappointed ??

Breakfast is good, shopping for meat & fruit and veg is good as it?s all good quality.Little play area for kids so it?s a nice little trip out. If you need plants or garden stuff it?s very well stocked
