Excellent for kids and adults disabled parking lifts to save walking up the stairs lots of changing rooms and lockers £1 coin needed for lockers fair size swimming pool tho odd shape both ends are shallow 1.25m and 1.5m the middle is the deepest but only 2m so no diving basically no jumping in £17 for 2 adults 2 children water side was good fun height restriction 1.2m under must ride with an adult lazy river great to just float around with a jacuzzi in the middle lifeguard male dark hair glasses bit rude because I swam my child from 1 end to the other shouting no children with armbands in the middle I explained I was pushing my child from one end to the other not letting go once he just shouted again and again his attitude was appalling I'm a 40 year old bloke been swimming long enough longer than hes been alive with the same qualifications as him no need for his attitude I'd under stand if my lad was swimming by himself but I was right there only other bad point was the
showers didn't work at all other than that great place to visit

This place is way to hot to sit and watch the swimming, so glad the lesson was only 45 minutes. Now using the centre, staff friendly and knowledgeable, trainers know their strengths.

Water is too cold as is what would be a hot tub.
I visited this place mid 2023 and pool water was cold and the bubble pool as it was called then was cold and it still is. No good for families especially with young children. This place needs new owners and the bubble pool needs to be a jacuzzi with heated water

Slide was broken and rapids only turned on for half term, no mention of this on the website, wasted journey and won't come back.

No parking available, we had to circle roubd till we could find a side road to park up in. The water slide was broken and rapids not switched on (couldn't see that mentioned on the website) won't be going back.

Excellent swimming baths, we went today in a group of 12 including toddlers. The young lady that served us added us up as family to make it cheaper even though we didn?t ask, thats great customer service.
They had a board up saying slide was not working, again this is good customer service so you can leave if that?s what you came for.
Shower/changing areas are spacious and clean, they do get dirty once it gets busy but you can see the cleaners cleaning.
There are two kids pools, the 6 lane pool is broken down to one big pool with 2 lanes. Life guards everywhere, the water is a bit cold, probably feels colder due to the weather. Jacuzzi was slightly warmer but that stopped working.
All in all a great leisure centre swimming pool for the money.

Great place to swim. A mix of different facilities in the place and friendly staff to greet and welcome for first timer. Felt like it was easy to get in to take part in public and casual swim.
Thank you Freedom leisure

We went yesterday as we have been many times before. However yesterday the water was unbelievably cold, even the jacuzzi water was cold. We ended up leaving as my 3 year olds toes were blue and he was shivering.

We visited today for the first time. We were greeted by a lovely lady at reception who talked us through where to go after we had told her it was our first time. She asked if we had come far as they had free swims available for children in Wales, unfortunately we're just over the border but the price for 2 adults & 2 kids was very reasonable at £15.50 and she informed us there was no time limit and that the slide and lazy river was open and that there would be an inflatable just after 3pm for confident swimmers 8 and over.
we enjoyed 90 minutes in the pools, (all 3 were open when we arrived) and on the slide, the lazy river and in the bubble pool. the kids loved it, best place they'd been for a casual swim so far and they're already asking when we can come back. Afterwards we enjoyed a coffee from the cafe and the kids had an ice-cream. We would definitely recommend visiting and will return ourselves soon!

Half term and less staff? It's a joke. Water should be warmer and better cleaning
