Been a member at total for a couple years patiently waiting for my contract to end. The machines are completely outdated and most of the time out of action waiting to be fixed. The hygiene is absolutely awful, the changing rooms i?m pretty sure you could catch something from, disgusting. The price to be a member at this gym is absolutely shocking and when DW shut down they took a heep of new members on meaning the car park was always full and since that point it went down hill from there. This also meaning that they were taking a lot more money for the same rubbish machines and no upgrade. They?ve just had a refurb which i?m pretty certain just consisted of new floor, a couple of machines but really not a noticeable difference. I cannot wait till my membership ends here as i?ve just done a month at Body tech which has just opened in wrexham and it?s opened my eyes to how much I?ve been paying for a bog standard gym.

Pretty much the most generic gym to ever grace Gods green earth.
Foolishly due to convenience I?ve been a member here for three years and honestly, the only thing that?s had a good workout is my patience. The equipment is the same tired, outdated stuff it was when I joined ? treadmills that run on coal and all that jazz. Half the time there?s at least 3 or 4 bits that are broken and they are usually out of action a while. The price they charge, you?d think they were importing gold-plated dumbbells. I?m only still here out of convenience, but I?m counting down the days until my membership ends like it?s a prison sentence.
* the money you must accumulate through the endless members you take on surely you could give this gym a well needed facelift.
Do not come here people

I only train there as my PT Lauren Roberts is there, and she is the best!!
Gym itself has just had a renovation, some new equipment downstairs to make it accessible which is good. But lots of equipment everywhere else is dated, poorly maintained and dirty.

I've rejoined after several years away, Tom was very professional and knowledgeable in processing my membership on site.
Car parking is plentiful and as long as you obey simple rules like parking between lines and not using disabled spots without a badge it shouldn't every be a problem .
All areas were clean , and the staff and others members I've met so far are pleasant
Not tried the cafe yet , but it looks busy

Sauna and steam room hygiene needs attention! Cleaning once a week on a Sunday is absolutely pathetic once a week is not good enough for a COMMERCIAL gym! steam rooms should be most definitely cleaned daily!
Staff are allowing people to enter the pool area without showering which is absolutely disgusting there are signs all over the area stating shower before entering and people enter without doing so! Something needs to be put in place hygiene need amending!
I've stated a foot bath and spray while entering will solve alot of the problem with people not showering.. people can't be training and putting themselves straight into the hydro pool without a shower its absolutely shocking and poor management if you ask me alot of members are aware and not happy with this!

Worst customer service experience I've ever had.
A woman called Kat in the sign up desk was condosendig and patronising. Offered no actual assistance and talked down to me the whole time. It's a rip off anyway with £20 for day passes. Don't go here, find somewhere better.

I took out a one-year membership at total fitness wrecham . After a couple of months, I was no longer able to do certain workouts, such as lifting heavy objects, because I was waiting for surgery on my knee. I sent them all the details explaining my situation, but the team refused to help.
Please be careful before joining this fitness center ? they are not supportive of people in difficult situations. I would not recommend this gym to anyone due to their poor handling and lack of understanding.

I have been a member now for over 12 months and although initially the gym needed some TLC and following a big increase in new members there have been improvements and more equipment, I unfortunately find myself faced with no parking which results in me not being able to park and going home again. Or getting into the gym and being faced with the gym floor being rammed with members and machines out of order ? It?s so frustrating to the point now that I will be looking for another gym after coming out of the gym on Monday only to be faced with a enforcement man about to put a parking ticket on my car for not parking in a dedicated space? I was not blocking anyone in or causing an obstruction to any other vehicle, I just wanted to go to MY GYM that I pay £49 per month for .Total Fitness you should be ashamed for penalising your members for your lack of providing adequate parking for your members.
