The professional service i recieved was exceptional, from the greeting and throughout my time there, i was treated like a human being, not just another customer on a production line.Emma the optician was absolutely brilliant in diagnosing what was happening with my eyesight.Nothing was too much trouble, this is the way all companies should be treating thier customers, well done to all at specsavers wrexham.

Stopped by to ask if they could switch out lenses in 2 identical frames that I had purchased from a different company. Tahsin, a Specsavers technician, warned me of the risks and when asked accommodated me by switching the correct lenses in the least favoured frames. He then let me know it looked like it would work to put them into the favoured frames no problem. I'm very pleased with the results and the time, care & attention given to me, especially considering I did not buy the originals at Specsavers. 5 star service!

My experience at Specsavers Wrexham was exceptional from start to finish. This review needs to be split between the optical and sales however my overall experience has to be one star. I received a first class eye test. Because they couldn't get a decent picture of my eyes the optician called me back and got a better picture with eye drops and was thorough with the examination. This is through a corporate eye test scheme. Because you get a contribution towards glasses and they will add to that discount I wanted to get glasses with them. This is where it went badly wrong. I selected a pair of normal and sunglasses and then was completely confused by his sales pitch. I'm not buying a car where metallic paint is a nice added extra these are extremely important purchases. Needing varifocals makes things complicated but I've not had a problem with other opticians glasses but they need to be suitable. I was given the impression that the standard and next up lenses are not recommended. Why sell them then? I asked what if I don't get on with them and told that there's a 100 days gaurantee but now wouldn't trust them if they told me that it was raining outside! Have now got various prices basically trying to be sold one pair for the price of two. I've been wearing glasses for a long time never have I received such a bad service which left me just wanting to get out of the shop very quickly which I did whilst the sales assistant wrote down some confusing numbers. To be honest I just wanted to get out! Shouldn't have gone to Specsavers! Sort it out and before I get a negative reply from either Specsavers or "would not recommend" thumbs down I give very fair reviews only calling out the worst customer service. So get your eyes tested here then run for the hills! Just adding that the link that whichever bot responds on reviews doesn't work and then you can't submit it once you've copied the link and written a review. Diabolical all round.

Overpriced I found better cheaper quality glasses at Asdas Queensferry I did complain been back 3 times will not use again ? Was told manager from wrexham would contact me still waiting months later only attention you get is when you complain

I cannot recommend this optician enough. They have time for their customers, they are helpful, keep you upto date with information about your glasses or hearing aids.

Awful experience at Wrexham branch. From the huffed greeting downstairs to the pokey corridor ?waiting area? upstairs listening to staff being loudly and obnoxiously rebuked in earshot of waiting customers. The final straw the appointment being cancelled as I waited because they have little or no understanding of their own processes. I have been a specsavers customer for 20 years at both Rhyl and Mold stores but Wrexham throughly let the side down. The only advantage bricks and mortar stores have in the internet age is the human element, with experiences like mine today it?s no wonder online providers are cleaning up.

Dreadful customer service.About three years ago I tried to cancel my contact lens plan, the lady on the phone assured me they would, but continued to take my money. I kept calling and kept being assured it would stop, but no luck.Eventually I cancelled the direct debit on my end and received a call asking why, again the lady was shocked.No matter, I thought, IT mistakes happen, I need an eye test so booked one with the lady on the phone.Today, I get delayed on the way and call to let them know I'll be five minutes late, only to be told that there is no point turning up and I will have to re-book.Considering you've charged me close to £500 for something I told you repeatedly I didn't want, you'd think they could spare five minutes?
