I put in my prescription nearly a fortnight ago only to find out they've lost my prescription again, they told that it was at the reception as they didn't have it. I checked with the reception, however it never came through to them. I've been without my medication for days, it's difficult enough to manage with mental health issues without the pharmacy losing medication that's needed to help stabilise my mental health. I dread to think what would happen to those who need vital medication such as heart medication only for prescriptions to consistently go missing.

I have no complaints about the Pharmacy staff themselves, however, I cannot understand why there are never two members of staff manning the two tills on the counter. The waiting times are VERY frustrating and I'm sure two tills being manned would relieve some of this frustration.

Customer service at Strathmore chemist is shocking. I appreciate they are busy but every month there is an error and I need to return to sort out my repeat presciption. There is one lady that shouted at me (& other customers) over the counter. I was feeling anxiety about collecting my prescription, so I've moved to another chemist who are amazing. They order my repeats and test me when it's arrived. The comparison is like night and day. Strathmore provide meds for some very poorly people. They can't go without their heart pills, pain killers, diabetes meds for days due to mistakes. Its literally life threatening. I hope this review is taken constructively.

Staff are stretched to the limit and need more staff to manage the amount of prescriptions they are having to deal with. I myself now use other pharmacies to collect my prescriptions as half hour waits are just not feasible

I've never had particularly bad customer service here, but it is the issue of speed that is absolutely shocking here. I have quite frequently waited in line for 30 minutes plus sometimes even having to wait in line and for my prescription for an hour. I went here to pick up my usual prescription, waited in line for about half an hour only to be told that they weren't excepting people waiting for their medication. Absolute waste of time, and honestly if you pick up your prescription sheet from Strathmore. Go to quite literally any other Chemist and save yourself at least 30 minutes.

Shocking service, it takes the surgery 3 days to issue the prescription, and the pharmacy 5 days to pack, and then standing in a queue waiting for no less than 40 minutes, only to receive the meds short-packed. Upon going back some days later for the rest, I waited again for 40 minutes. They never answer their phone either, so I can't arrange to pick it up when completed. This place does my head in, I've finally after a year of frustrations on virtually every encounter, decided to change pharmacies. Avoid if at all possible, have the prescription sent to Rowlands St Georges crescent, they are far more efficient.

I have only had good service at this pharmacy, dispensing medication is not something that can be rushed so I am certainly prepared to wait a little longer.

The one and only lady on the counter was brilliant but I feel so so sorry for her as she was running around like crazy whilst others in the back were laughing and joking about with no care about the people waiting. Whoever is in charge give her a medal but sametime have a big word with yourself as it?s a disgrace!

put my prescription request into the outside box on 7/02/2022 over 1 week ago. had no text message to say its ready and don't bother calling them. The phone is constantly engaged. I work in Chester have no medication left and cant get in there until Thursday.
