I reviewed this 8 years ago and gave a stinking review as the staff at the time of my visit were horrid. Since then we have been back several times and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to come back now. I think it's only fair I change the old review from nearly a decade ago

I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Wrexham store. I returned a faulty dog toy, and the way I was treated by several staff members was unacceptable. Instead of receiving assistance, I was met with dismissive and sarcastic remarks, inappropriate laughter, and unprofessional behavior. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was further let down by a lack of empathy and an unwillingness to address my concerns properly. The manager?s attitude was curt and biased towards his staff, rather than listening to the customer?s side. This experience has seriously affected my trust in this store, despite being a loyal customer for many years. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve customer service standards.

My 20 month old grandson loves going around this store to look at all the animals, had a couple of small pets from here in the past, great pet shop.

I visited yesterday as normal - I have 3 dogs & the Wrexham branch is one I always use. The staff member on the till who served me was rude. My payment via contactless apparently didn't go through however I saw her take a receipt out so I assumed it had. She said in a quiet voice 'didn't go through', I am partially deaf, & asked her to repeat what she had said which she did quietly & in a dismissive way. I told her I had seen her remove the receipt so I assumed it had gone through.....she then held the receipt up in front of me & said 'check it if you want'. A massive training issue for this person is needed. If I go there again & she's on the till, I will go elsewhere! Sorry PAH.....ive always been very pleased with the service at Wrexham.
