Good time watching the film as usual. Only downside, got told to order food on the screens (first time doing this). Got handed two empty cups and a box of pop corn. Having not done this before a short explanation would have gone a long way to tell me where to get the sweets I paid for and where to fill up the drinks.

£6 for 2 bottles of coke. Went to pay and was told to go and pay at the till at the end whilst 3 other members of staff just did nothing. Missed the very beginning of the film because I had to cue to pay. Finally paid and thanked the member of staff who just looked at me in silence....
Please teach your staff some manners especially when u charge them sorts of prices.

I have just been the victim of abuse by staff at this cinema in front of my three small children. I booked tickets online for premier seats and children?s snack boxes as a half term treat. We drove for almost an hour to get to our closest Odeon and had spent our morning waiting for it to be time to leave. On arrival, the children were super excited about their big movie experience. However, I realised I hadn?t received a confirmation email for my online booking. I was directed to the tills where a staff member asked my name. She confirmed no booking had been made. She asked a manager to check who also advised that my Apple Pay payment was only pending and the transaction had failed for some reason (apparently it happens a lot) so I expressed my dissatisfaction at what appeared to be a useless online system. My complaint wasn?t loud or rude, at best it was a tad passive aggressive. I simply stated, ?if this isn?t the first time it?s happened then surely someone should sort it out,? or words to that effect. I was told that the lady serving me, ?didn?t appreciate my tone,? but I ignored her comment and asked if I could just book more seats and pay because I didn?t want to disappoint my children. The staff member insisted on reiterating that none of this was he fault but despite that, she?d be the one in the phone to the service team later that day for over an hour. So I advised her that actually, I didn?t like HER tone. After all, I was the customer and as far as I could see, the only one who should be miffed at this point. And while this exchange took place, she apparently discovered that I HAD booked and paid after all (good job I hadn?t yet paid twice) and her colleague had been looking at the 4pm bookings, not the 1pm bookings. I said that I thought that was awful and hoped she would be discussing the matter later with her colleague. I was then directed to collect the treat boxes I had ordered. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of turning around to see her and three colleagues looking my way and laughing. I tried to ignore it and met her again at the end of the counter to collect my boys popcorn. My youngest son (5 years old) knocked over his popcorn by mistake which made said staff member tut. I said, ?don?t worry, you?re not the only one who makes mistakes.? This resulted in the staff member walking off and, to my surprise, not coming back. I persevered and ordered drinks with the replacement staff member. She was very abrupt and asked if I?d paid for them yet. I said no, she told me I should?ve done that first as I was currently at the collection counter. Hell bent on intimidating me and making me feel uncomfortable, she glared at me and I said through teary eyes, ?actually, I?d like a refund and we won?t be watching the film.? It was a tough decision because I didn?t want to upset my boys. But I was now being ganged up on by a troop of female staff who were trying to intimidate and bully me. And I wasn?t going to give my money to a place like that. I felt sick, the first lady came back to have another go and I had enough. I told her she should be ashamed of herself and her team. That I?d never been in a position like it and that they were clearly all conspiring to push me over the edge and they?d won. One individual member of staff looked as hurt as I was. She followed me out, desperate to say something to help. Apologising and begging me not to leave. But the damage was done. And I did leave. With my three boys watching me spiral into a full blown panic attack en route to our car. They listened to me cry through the entire journey home, all 45 minutes of it. And they watched me cry even more when we got through the door. What we experienced was nothing short of abuse. I justified myself at every turn only to be told over and over again that I was wrong, it wasn?t their fault, what I thought didn?t matter. But it does matter, and I matter and by boys matter. And I will work damn hard to make sure Odeon and their staff know it.

Odeon Wrexham is a fantastic cinema offering a great movie-going experience. The staff are truly wonderful, especially the lady who attended to us?she was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Her excellent customer service left a lasting impression, and I?ll definitely return because of it. The cinema itself is clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment for all guests. It?s also reasonably priced, making it a great choice for a quality and enjoyable outing.
