All self service tills weren?t open, only one person on the till. The website isn?t very well paired with the store, it said the majority of items weren?t in stock at the store but were ready for click and collect, went in store anyway and most of the products were there, only a few out of stock.

We visited B&Q today to pick some new paint, unsure of what would look well together. Oliver was fantastic and patient with us. He was knowledgeable and gave us some great advice!

Visited to buy Valspar paint but there wasn?t any matching our tiles, Oliver was absolutely fabulous and went out of his way to find us the perfect colour to match our tiles. He checked all the paints in store and found one he could scan and with scanning our tile he found the perfect match!! It did come out a bit light but when it dried on the paper in store it matched perfectly much to Oliver?s happiness. Thanks so much for all your help but also being such a lovely person.

Wanted to purchase a Karcher k4 pressure washer, found B&Q had a clearance offer of £169 so went into the Wrexham branch to check, spoke to a wonderfully helpful lady called Julie Edwards who went above and beyond her duties to try to help us, the model on display in the store turns out to somehow be an updated version (albeit there's no way of telling) and the cost was £200 and the store wasn't showing the clearance offer in stock. We checked online again and found that the Llandudno store were showing one, I added it to my online basket and proceeded to payment, Julie insisted on phoning Llandudno to actually get them to check the stock as she didn't want me driving 45 mins each way only to find they hadn't and as it turned out she was right to do so as the guy in the Llandudno store confirmed that they weren't showing it in physical stock. I then asked Julie if she could check with the branch manager as to whether they would offer some discount on the model in stock there due to the inconvenience caused by the system clearly saying Llandudno had one in stock but the Manager refused to assist so we went on our way but would like it on record that the store assistant Julie Edwards was above and beyond helpful and was powerless to assist any further.
I decided to phone the B&Q customer services but that was a total waste of time and effort as the very unhelpful assistant must have been having a bad day and wasn't in the mood to be helpful.

Appalling service from here. There was one man on the till who was taking a very long time to scan a lady?s order (over 10 minutes for a few plants). The self service tills were shut except one where an item needed approval but nobody was coming to do it. The queue was backed up at this point because of very very slow service. The he employee then decided, after a very very long time, to call for the other tills to be opened. The employee then said for the people to move over if they are paying card, meaning that everybody at the back of the queue ran over to take the self service ,baring in mind the people at the front were there a long time before. The guy at the previously only self service was still waiting for approval and he said to the other employee that just come to approve it, to which he said no you will have to wait for the (slow) employee to do it. I complained about the slow service and the lack of organisation of the queue and got ignored by the employee as he just walked past me.
Extremely poor service from those two members of staff and the queue management. If the employee cannot handle scanning a few plants then maybe it is time to move them on or retrain them. Appalling!
Did not have most of what was needed anyway. Garden and DIY shop that has minimal stock.

Excellent, helpful amd kind service had by ... I think his name was Keith... he dealt with 2 female customers looking to do some inexperiemced DIY with much respect and absolutely no judgements. This put me so much at ease to be able to ask questions on what equipment would be needed for the work and enjoy the purchasing experience, which I was dreading as not done much DIY with tools. Thank you ... staff are always helpful

I had two experiences before I thought of posting this today.
I have had too bad customer services experiences here. Clearly racist, I saw him serve two other customer with greetings and being cordial. I come in and his attitude changes and did not greet me even when I did, ignored it and me completely.
I have never had to write something like this to anyone but this is not the way to treat your customers. I hope atleast the management is not senseless and educate their employees.

On the smaller side here but I always find what I need. Car park is a reasonable size, there is no phone signal here on any network that I?ve tried so use the WiFi or download your voucher codes before visiting.
