Both our children attended Dyffryn Taf, after leaving Saundersfoot PC.The Staff were very supportive and encouraging. The Engineering Club, and the Duke of Edinburgh Schemes exceptional. All schools have strong and weak sections . However Dyffryn Taf laid the foundation stones for very good careers, for both our children. The work ethic was very good. They encouraged or daughter into Chemical Engineering, a career she loves. Thank you Mr Newsome and all Dyffryn Taf Staff.

I have allot of fond memories of the place. I left to go to one of the top Sixth Form Colleges in the united kingdom after completing my GCSE's there so they must be doing something right.

Dyffryn Taf is most certainly not an encouraging environment to learn in. Many members of staff were dismissive and unsupportive (not all however, the staff of room 20 were fantastic couldn't have asked for better and to them I would give 5*). When asked what sort of career goal I had in mind (always equine related) I was very quickly dismissed and told there were better options. Fortunately for me this dismissing of my goals actually gave me the determination to achieve my current role within a vets practice and continue my career with horses of my own.Over the years at Dyffryn Taf I also saw the lack of care to students suffering from bullying etc. Again this was dismissed. In other words if you are, like me, driven by having your goals dismissed by those who are supposed to encourage you then this is the school for you! If however you would prefer genuine encouragement KEEP LOOKING defiantly NOT the school for you!

Only giving 3 stars because of some of the teachers who were genuinely inspiring to be around. Would of been 2 stars because of the sheer amount of teachers that made me feel like I was going to amount to nothing even when I was trying my best. Subjects such as French have put me off for life just because of the teachers I had at a young age.

If this is the standard of education in Wales, God help all the students that pass through here totally oblivious of the sub standard education they have received. If your child aspires to being more than a street cleaner or checkout assistant, then this is not the school for them.Cannot uphold the rules for uniform or bullying let alone teach to a standard that is anywhere close to an education my other children received in England.
