I never normal write a review but feel like this deserved one after anticipating our stay due to other reviews. We recently returned from twin rivers and I could not fault it in anyway. It was clean with fresh bedding and towels, It is a family run site which to us as a family makes us feel welcome and relaxed. Our kids loved it how they can go and explore & we can feel at ease.Nothing was an ask. I will definitely be booking again.

We booked prior to reading any reviews, we just wanted a last minute break and a hot tub was a must so when we saw this place we booked on impulse and read the reviews later... Admittedly, we almost cancelled!! We decided that we'd call in advance to ensure the hot tub would be clean on arrival, we were assured that all the hot tubs are emptied and cleaned between each customer and for that reason it wasnt guaranteed to be to temperature on the night of arrival.. that was ok for us as we were staying 3 nights so that wasnt an issue for us. We decided to pack our cleaning essentials, bedding, towels etc and make the best of our holiday. On arrival, we called to say we had arrived and confirm our hut was ready, someone met us and directed us to our home for 3 nights. It was nestled right beside the river and beneath the trees, the seating area outside had got leaves and debris from the surroundings, this didn't bother us as where the huts are it's expected.. we lifted the lid to the hot tub, and the smell of chlorine was evident, the water was crystal clear and it was warm which was a happy surprise for us. When we looked inside the hut THEY ARE SMALL!!!! So much smaller than we anticipated, as there was only 2 of us this wasn't a problem but I wouldn't recommend anymore than 2 people to stay in 1. Cleanliness wise, it was clean. I looked, everywhere, it was spotless! The bedding was folded as opposed to being "made" BUT where the beds are, whoever has to make the beds would have to get onto the bed so again I was more than happy in the knowledge no one had been crawling over the bed prior to us using it. We went to the onsite bar 1 of the nights out of the 3, it was a really friendly place, very relaxed and the people were so welcoming.. I've never walked into a room where everyone has wanted to speak haha.. we only went on the Saturday night, we wasnt going to eat there but did see food being brought out and ordered pizza and chips to take back, which we thoroughly enjoyed. There is no beer/lager/cider on draught EVERYTHING is from bottles and cans, I didn't mind this but my husband would have preferred a cold pint on draught, that was his only gripe so not to bad. I have never left a review but after nearly cancelling our holiday and almost missing out on the few days we had at this wonderful place. I never needed to get my cleaning products out apart from things for washing up and we used our own towels for showering as the towels provided for us we used for drying off after the hot tub. I am planning our second visit for the summer months as would love to experience this place in the better weather. Thank you to all the staff and caravaners for making us feel so welcome we look forward to coming back

I visited here the beginning of April with my husband and 2 kids and had the best time!!! We stayed in the maple lodge, the views were beautiful and we didn?t even see our children as they were off out and about to the park, the bouncy castle aswell as all of the other facilities on site, they loved it! It was really nice to be able to let them out and adventure in an environment you know is safe as you don?t really get that anymore unfortunately. We also took a walk down to the club house on site and the staff were super friendly and accommodating with drawing available for the kids whilst the adults had a game of bingo there was also a disco and to finish off kareoke which was a good laugh?. Can?t wait to come again, already booked for the summer?

We bought a caravan in 2018 the site was fab then we left in January this year We had pitch 31 which we paid a lot of money for when we left caravan 31 was dangerous with electrical problems and gas the park manager didn?t give any money back to our disabled daughter which we bought the caravan for and apparently sold it for more than what we paid Bad site Ripped off Poor maintenance Please avoid this site

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PARK... IF I COULD GIVE A MINUS STAR I WOULD... HAD TO CALL THE POLICE ON THE MANAGER WHO DECIDED THAT AS I HAD MADE A COMPLAINT TO HOSEASONS THEN I HAD TEN MINUTES TO LEAVE THE SITE AS APPARENTLY I HAD BEEN ABUSIVE TO THREE CHILDREN HE LEFT THE SITE IN CHARGE OF WHILE HE WAS AWAY FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS .. I HAD MY 80 YEAR OLD MOM WITH ME AND HE WAS AGGRESSIVE AND WHEN I WARNED HIM NOT TO TOUCH ME HE TURNED OFF THE ELECTRIC PLUNGING THE LODGE IN TO PITCH DARK AS IT WAS LATE AND NO LIGHTS ON THE ACTUAL PARK ..I'd had a nice conversation with the daughter's friend who was actually trying to clean and did half the kitchen myself with her supplies and talked about her schooling .. maple lodge was dirty and had not been cleaned... Food in the oven, dirt and shavings in the shower, empty bottles lying around.. dirty plates and cutlery on the rack... Dog biscuits and dirty cutlery in the sink.. Second bedroom looked like someone had slept in there... Stains on settee and kitchen appliances... Freezing cold and dirty hot tub which is a lazy spa switched off even though the check in text sent said it was at temperature .. the stairs to the lodge had loose trims that if you step on come lose and nearly break your neck... No live TV and told to just log in to Netflix by resetting my own passwords as I didn't have my log in details with me... The managers wife had to come put electric back on so could pack up but shouting over me whilst trying to speak to 999 who told me to ignore her and sent a police officer ... I HAVE NEVER IN FIFTY YEARS OF HOLIDAYS HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE AS THIS WITH SUCH AN UNPROFESSIONAL SITE MANAGER WHO WOULD HAPPILY BUT THE HEALTH OF AN 80 YEAR IN JEOPARDY

What a horrible place. Was put into a mobile home which was not the one we booked. Was a tip inside , nothing worked. Nothing done about sorting repairs. Came home 2 days early as couldn't stay any longer family suffering. Holiday from he'll, should be shut down. As for Club house my 3 teenage sons could do better. The food is all cooked in s deep fryer dirty filthy oil used at that. Made us all sick. Please please don't get coned like we did

What a complete and utta dump. Will never be back. Was put into a caravan that wernt the one we booked. No hot tub. Nothing worked. Toilet leaked water all night. Had to turn mains off when not in use . Shower didn't work so me and family couldn't get showers our entire stay. Despite asking for faults to be sorted was just lied to. Our entire stay. The place was discussing. My wife spent half a day cleaning it as it was in such a state. Be warned. Pay the little extra and get somewhere proper

We have just had a magical long wknd at twin rivers we stayed in the a lodge with a hot tub and it was perfect, the hot tub was ready to go on arrival and on a private veranda, the lodge was spacious, well fitted and beautifully furnished, the host was excellent friendly and available if needed. The site was quiet in March and the facilities were closed as out of season, we knew this prior to booking. Set in a beautiful location amongst the hills it was a great base for exploring the area, its quite remote so take supplies and enjoy the tranquility.

Absolutely disgusting place. The place had not been cleaned at all! The bedding looked and smelt like it was still on from the last people there. The bed was broken! There's no seating area inside the hut. There was stuff in the shower leaves in the bathroom and hair on the toilet seat! The wooden flooring has massive chunks missing in it. The decking area was covered in leaves, moss and mould as was the hot tub! The hot tub had a brown gunk mark all around the inside of it and stunk of bleach! We was told the whole place had been cleaned and the hottub had been cleaned out and refilled. It was just filthy! All the walls inside the hut was dirty with marks over. Aviod the place at all costs! Me and my friend went for the weekend for my birthday. We was there less then 30mins and left. We had to find somewhere else to stay.

My partner booked a special get away for my 60th. She booked a shepherds hut with hot tub, upon arrival ( late Feb 2023), the whole decking was piled with leaves and branches, the outside chairs had cushions full of water. We managed to get hold of Dan to clean up the mess. The shepherds hut is very small, no seating, no t towel, no dish cloth, brush or cleaning pad, 1 and a half toilet roll for 2 people for 4 days, no towels even though they were meant to be provided, no oven just a microwave and 2 ring hob. No coffee or tea, the bed was 2 singles pushed together and it didn't looked made, toilet and shower minute. Anyway I digress, we got into the hot tub , the only redeeming feature, and was thoroughly enjoying ourselves when all the power cut out, after ringing Dan and checking meter it was out of credit, fair dues to Dan he did sort with in twenty minutes. Anyway I have been to many places around the world but have never quite understood why the English have no idea about service. Rant over

5 stars lovely camp site excellent little Shepards Hut. Hot tub was up to temperature for the first night which was a bonus. Plenty to do by the looks of it if you have kids play area & football pitch. Club house on site didn?t go in but looked nice enough. If you want a peaceful break come here.

We stayed hear , From the Friday until the Monday . Daniel was lovely very helpful and accommodating. Warm friendly site , Nothing that we asked for was too much trouble. Would highly recommend?.! The only down side to my stay , Was the company that I was with ?. Looking forward to visiting again thank you Dan Abbie & Barry xx

Arrived 30th Sept to try a gypsy hut for glamping with my mom, it wasn't for us (no fault of the park, just personally not suitable for us). However, site manager Dan helped us to upgrade to the beautiful maple lodge - absolutely out of this world! Dan and Barry are the most friendliest and helpful guys. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Eill definitely revisit and would 10/10 recommend. Sue and Leanne (fron that dodgy Walsall!)

What a dump! felt unsafe when I visited this place last year, very run down also being shouted at by some kids we was gougers not a nice experience up and left, found a lovely place 10 minutes up the road

Me and my boyfriend booked twin rivers through hoeseasons, the pictures online looked absolutely beautiful and we couldn?t wait for our visit. When we arrived we was greeted by the sit manager who seemed lovely and showed us to our lodge. We booked a lodge with a hot tub, we was suppose to have another lodge but because the hot tub had a puncture from a pervious visitor the site manager put us in another lodge. We was happy with this because we really booked the visit because of the hot tub, however when getting settled in the electricity kept on cutting out and the hot tub was freezing cold on arrival and had to wait a whole day for it to be heated up and when it was ready to use there was a rip in the hot tub causing water to splash everywhere and when telling the site manager he said ?well it can still be used as a hot tub? me and my boyfriend are extremely upset with our visit because it was for our birthday and it cost a lot of money. We have complained to hoeseasons about this as it?s absolutely disgusting. Word of advice don?t visit this park it?s a waste of money and you will end up not enjoying your visit.
