When passing through Welshpool, popping in to Alexander's is a must do, even if its just to see a shop from a bygone age surviving in today's world.”

“Had a fabulous Sunday lunch, very generous portion sizes, with ten different vegetables. Good selection of desserts, something for everyone. Sunday lunch is served the first Sunday every month and is all cooked by the amazing landlady Jess. I recommend booking in advance, we booked in for next month when we paid as it was that good. “Fab service from Boys & Boden I ordered a bulk bag of Cotswold Gravel the delivery driver was excellent and managed to drop the bag by crane in a difficult place for me. Unfortunately I didn't order enough and Boys & Boden pulled all the stops out for me to deliver another bag the very next day. Amazing value as their bulk bags hold 100kgInstead of 850kg like most other gravel suppliers. Thanks BB the gravel looks lovely!”
