I spoke to Linda on Monday afternoon. She was so helpful - brilliant. She got me in to see Claire (hygienist - brilliant also) on Tuesday morning and sorted out an appointment for a checkup aswell. The two lovely ladies on reception were lovely too?Outstanding service all round.Thanks very much?

Just joined the practice. From the first visit I have been made welcome by all the staff who are all very friendly and professional. During a long procedure both Rhys and Cerys both made sure I was ok during the time I was in the chair and talked me through the steps of how the appointment would go. If you are looking for a new dentist I would definitely recommend.

A reflection of the ownership of the practice, not the staff. After 34 years of being with the practice, I found out they changed to solely private two months ago (the wrong address was provided to the healthboard, so I wasn't notified, also they just didn't tell me when I phoned one month ago).It's a really disappointing decision to go down the solely private route, especially in an area of severe deprivation. It's also frustrating that after such a long time the practice didn't inform of this decision directly or in advance. Still, over the years I've had great service from the practice, so the staff I've encountered have almost all been fantastic.REPLY TO Comment for Bethcar (which seems to have now been deleted): I can't reply to the comment. No, I have lived in the same address for around four and a half years. Yes, 21 October is when I booked my appointment for December, so it has taken over a month for anyone to advise that I won't be having that appointment as you're no longer my dentist.

I would not hesitate in recommending Bethcar Dental Practice. The service my family and I have received has been outstanding. The ladies on reception are very helpful and friendly and go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Dr Laura Wedge and her assistant are very professional. They have provided excellent dental and aesthetic services. Laura?s calm and patient manner helped to calm my anxiety and gave me the confidence to ahead with procedures, and she always does a wonderful job. I was particularly impressed when I received a reply to a message sent on social media on a Sunday evening to arrange an emergency appointment for my daughter the following morning.
