Kitchen closed as we got there, yet they still served us instead of sending us in our way. Very friendly staff and what an amazing burger they do. 5* is not enough to rate them

The food and service were first class, we were made very welcome. It was mid week lunchtime so not to many customers to comment on the atmosphere.

We had a really fantastic lunch here today. We have been veggie for many years, and the White Hart's cheesy veggie pancake was a triumph. I had to take some home, it was such a generous portion. As veggies, we usually get fobbed off in pubs with an overpriced dish of pasta. This was just the best ever! Thank you, we will be back.

The pub was fairly busy on a Thursday lunchtime which was reassuring. The menu was extensive and there were a few specials. The choice of draft beers was acceptable although I opted for cider. Our food choices were mainly the burgers which were excellent and came with good chips, onion rings and coleslaw. I had the lamb kofta wrap which, although a starter, was a generous portion of well spiced lamb with a wrap, salad and hummus. Service was friendly and efficient. As it was a nice day we sat outside. There's plenty of seating both inside and out.

Fantastic Sunday Lunch here. Parking on site. Friendly welcome. Great atmosphere. Log fire. Food is well presented and served, cooked great and piping hot. Great portion sizes. Good selection of drinks. Real ales. Recommended.

We were staying locally mid-week 3 weeks ago, and ate at the White Hart on both a tuesday and wednesday evening. The landlord was very welcoming, the food was delicious with generous portions of meat, we could eat in the bar in front of the log fire and the real ale was good. Highly recommended!

Love this lovely pub/inn, theres always a friendly vibe from staff, Everything ive tried ive never had a bad meal here, i have been a few times and im sure i will go back again soon

Had a works do, here lovely and warm friendly staff. You could have a right laugh with. Made us feel right at home.
