“I have always, always received amazing service from this pharmacy, past and present, and to my knowledge the pharmacists are always friendly and kind towards the customers inside.\\n\\nI’m aware that recently the pharmacy has since undergone a change in not only ownership but also staffing levels, which can make the process of picking up prescriptions and being served on the slower side, (it happens!) and some patience from customers during the change over can go a long way.\\n\\nBut it was to my utter disgust and dismay to hear the way that locals to the pharmacy, were speaking to the pharmacists/ pharmaceutical assistants today. Never in my life have I heard such ridiculous and ignorant comments spoken towards someone just doing their job (to a fantastic and professional degree). Comments regarding the lack of staff, pace of customers served (which has been at a decreased volume for a long time due to a GLOBAL PANDEMIC?! Hello??) and length of time it had taken for prescriptions to be received, all targeted towards members of staff that have never had/ nor currently have the power to change any of these issues. Especially not in that very second!\\nIt blows my mind that people truly think that if they say the words, “it’s not good enough, it’s just a joke” in a passive aggressive enough manner, enough times, that their problems will be solved.\\n\\nIf any one reading this review is partly responsible for speaking inappropriately, ignorantly or just plain aggressively to the trained professionals working at this pharmacy instead of talking to someone that may be able to change or take into consideration your grievances, then you should be truly, truly ashamed of yourselves, because what I witnessed today was truly disgusting and I implore you to take up a role in customer service to truly experience what being spoken to like dirt, for something completely out of YOUR control, feels like. The individuals in this pharmacy work hard to provide the people in this country with (might I add) FREE prescriptions.\\n\\nCount yourselves lucky that you don’t live elsewhere in the world where it keeps you up at night worrying that you may bankrupt your family due to repeat medication needed to treat a heart condition or diabetes.\\n\\nThe people working at this pharmacy truly deserve more than my words of kindness if this is what they face on a daily basis. Don’t let the ignorant reviews from others on this page deter you from coming here, the staff are lovely, hard-working and are deserving of some damn patience and consideration from the general public.”
