After visiting the waterfalls we called in for Sunday lunch. There were a few others in there but by no means busy. We arrived at 1.25pm ordered drinks and 4x roast dinners. After waiting 45mins we enquired how much longer we would have to wait and was told it was on its way, 15mins later we got our lunches. Although the portions were a good size the food was disappointing, it tasted like everything was frozen especially the veg and yorkshire puddings. When we went to pay we expressed our disappointment with both the wait and the food and was astonish to be shouted at across the bar in front of other customers. We didn't get an apology just excuses and told that (well yelled at) that we could not say that any of the food tasted like it was frozen food because it wasn't. I have eaten a lot of vegetables in my 64 years and think I know when it's fresh or frozen.

It's surprising to find such a tasty Indian restaurant in the middle of this remote village. I can say it has very tasty authentic food, especially after coming from West London, which of course is the go to place for Indian food varieties.
It has good service, nice ambience and a welcoming feel.

Really really nice food, we enjoyed what we had and focussed on the chef?s specials. The staff were friendly and polite and we would come back. Can recommend!

Gary and the team are very welcoming and friendly for walk ins or locals.
We didn?t have a place to eat last minute but Gary got us a table and told us it was Nepalese food which we loved.
The staff were all so friendly and attentive throughout.
The food was brought in stages and lots of different choice with spice levels.
The pub had a lovely atmosphere and music in the background. Later on in the evening they had karaoke and the locals made us feel so welcome.
I wouldn?t bother going to other pubs in the village this has everything you need.

Came here for an Indian takeaway and can easily say if your looking to have Indian food then find a proper Indian restaurant and avoid this place. To start the bag they sent it in had broken open due to them putting what was supposed to be a mint yoghurt dip at the bottom in a foil container underneath plastic tubs where the curries were and leaked over my partners car mats in his new car.
Onto the food as above we found out that what was supposed to be a mint yoghurt dip was actually plain yoghurt, first disappointment. The mixed grill which was 20 quid including some chips was never going to feed 2 to 3 ppl as stated and was a right rip off 2 lamb chops 3 wings 2 sheesh kebabs and 3 chunks of very bland chicken tikka.
Saag aloo looked horrendous purreed spinach (this is usually my partners favourite side dish) He said it wasnt nice.
Curries.... my partner had a chicken jalfrezi he gave it a 2 out of 10 said it was kind of like a masala but with a bit of heat to it and loads of onions inside.
I ordered a chicken balti... well it was a sweet and sour very runny liquid with tons of oil in it nothing like a balti. Both curries had shredded thigh meat which also was very strange as normal curries have chicken breast chunks.
Chicken and egg fried rice was probably one of the worst rice's ive ever had watery, flavourless and the rice was overcooked looked again like chicken thigh peices and no seasoning whatsoever.
Poppadoms... bendy like stale
Butter naan bread .... well it was bread no flavour not a normal naan.
Chips were ok we re heated and added salt and was probably the best thing we ate out of all of it.
Have to state that both curries we had were not on the main menu but it does state on the menu that they can make both of these curries with whatever heat we liked and we asked for medium it was mild.
Also would like to state that our accommodation was over 20 mins away and was too far to go back and take it and too late as we had been out all day and was shattered.
The total for this lot was £66 and most of it went into the bin. I do have photos but can't find how to add them ?
Coming from Birmingham we have many many Indian restaurants some good some mediocre this was well below the worst ive had.
Not sure if the chef was even Indian from the depressing food sent out.

Do not book this hotel! I have been charged twice and the owner will not give my money back. I am attempting a charge back if that fails will be going to a small claims court. If I get my money back I will remove this review but at the moment am £162 out of pocket.

Fairy Falls Trefriw just had the most lovely meal at the Fairy Falls.
Every time we come the whole family are made to feel so welcome. Even our daughter?s horse!
The food was just beautiful. Every time we come the food is consistently high quality, appealing and just scrumptious.

We turned up without a booking and was seated in the restaurant quickly last minute . Food was very good. We enjoyed our stay plus football was on the screens . Overall very good and would recommend

I highly recommend this family run business. What a wonderful experience, so clean and tidy rooms. The food is amazing, you can?t beat a Welsh Lamb chop tandoori style. Thank you Deepak , Durga and Bittu (the chef). For making our 5 hour drive worth it !

Popped in here on the way through. I have to say staff were amazing and the food served was top notch. We will definitely be returning.
